The black and white patterns peeked out from the edges of the armor, giving him a fierce yet somehow adorable look

Dora Southwell had to admit that the four of them standing together in their custom combat suits was a sight to behold.

‘Alright, since the suits are sorted, let’s get down to assigning tasks,” she said, pulling her attention back to business.

‘Clive, you’re on route planning and combat command.

‘Rafe, you’re on intelligence analysis and mineral vein location.

‘Elmer, you’re on logistics support and medical aid.

‘Lioren, you’re on reconnaissance and early warning.”

Just then, the doorbell chimed again. Dora, already at the door, opened it and found a package hovering outside.

The silver-white metal box had no indication of who sent it, just her name and address.

She glanced over at the males, who were gathered around the map, looking puzzled.

‘Did any of you buy something again?” she asked.

Lioren glanced up from his high chair, his amber eyes flicking over the box as his tail swayed. “Not me.”

Dora frowned, feeling a bit uneasy, and ran a scan over the box with her detector, nothing hazardous detected.

Once she was sure it was safe, she keyed in the password and opened the box.

Inside, the box was neatly packed with nutrient drinks, her favorite berry flavor, from a classic brand that’s nearly impossible to find across the interstellar.

Next to them was a beautiful women’s combat suit, folded perfectly.

When she unfolded it, she saw a light purple, form-fitting suit, with elegant silver armor at the shoulders and joints. The fabric had a soft, pearl-like sheen under the light.

But what really caught her attention was the faint floral scent drifting from the suit, the same fragrance she remembered from her mother, Vivienne Southwell.
