Chapter 96

Dora spun around, only to sea Level 4 mutated wolf had sometrow shipped past Lorens defenses and was charging right a

her out of nowhere.

It was right on top of her, there was no time to raise her gun.

Just in the nick of time, a black figure appeared in front of her like a phantom.

Clive crushed the Level 4 mutated wolf’s throat with one hand, while his other was stift grappling with the mutated wolf king, even while fighting a Level 5 battle, he still managed to protect her.

“Focus!” Clive snapped without turning his head, his voice tinged with anger and fear.

Dora bit her lip, determination flashing in her eyes, and raised her gun to jump back into the fight.

This time, she didn’t try to go solo. Instead, she synced up with the others, picking off the wounded Level & wolves wheneve she got the chance.

The mutated Ironclaw Wolf King was trapped in Clive’s lightning cage, and finally, a shadow blade sliced right through its

heart.

The rest of the Level 4 Mutated Ironclaw Wolves were either dead or had bolted, leaving only the Level 3 one twitching helplessly on the ground.

Clive walked up to Dora, took her arm, and checked her injury.

Beneath the ripped combat suit, there was a shallow cut on her skin, blood beading from it.

“I’m fine…” Dora began, but she saw the anger swirling in Clive’s eyes before she could finish.

“Next time, don’t leave Elmer’s shield area without permission,” he said in a low voice. “Your safety is the most important thing.”

Elmer hurried over and gently used his healing-type supernatural ability to treat her wound.

Warm energy enveloped her arm, and the cut closed up in seconds, healing right before her eyes.

“Sorry for worrying you all,” Dora said earnestly.

Lioren shifted back into his cat form and padded over, rubbing against her leg, giving her a reproachful looks

eyes.

Rafe holstered his gun and handed her a bottle of water with a smile. “You did pretty well for your thirst real bark. Th really took some big risks out there.

“That Level 3 Mutated Ironclaw Wolf was seriously dangerous for someone like you, a hule female with no combat r supernatural ability at all. It could have killed you

Dora took the water and drank, a chill running down her spine as she realized how close it had been. I know it be manne

careful next time”

Everyone got to work clearing the battlefield

Clive expertly carved out the crystal cores. The Level 5 woll king’s core was about the size of a tist, deep gray, with a metallic shimmer swirling inside, it was a special Level 5 metal-type crystal core

The Level Acryl-cares were smaller, and they picked up eight in total. As for the Level 3 Mutated Ironclaw Wolf

Dora approached the creature.

The wolf had lost a lot of blood, its gaze vacant, but it was still clinging to life

She lifted her gun, but paused, uncertain.

“Mutated mutated alien beasts and humans are sworn enemies out here in the interstellar Rafe said quietly. If you let it live, once it recovers, it’ll still attack anyone who enters his area, including ranocent people who might stumble in

Dora shut her eyes and squeezed the trigger.

The energy beam ended its suffering.

As she extracted its crystal core, she noticed it was unusually pale, almost transparent. It didn’t match the descriptions she seen of Ironclaw Wolf cores.

“A rare mutated crystal core? This Level 3 mutated wolf wasn’t a pup, it was a female,” Clive walked over and glanced at it. “Maybe it’ll help you stabilize your Spatial Realm Ability,” he added.

Dora gathered up all the crystal cores and stored the mutated alien beasts in her Spatial Realm. With, that done, the group moved on.

After dealing with the wolf pack, they ventured deeper into Zone 32, and it didn’t take long for everyone to sense that something was off.

It was way too quiet.

At the edge, they could still hear the occasional beast roar or insect chirp, but two hours into the heart of the zone, all that remained was the monotonous patter of rain and the sound of their own footsteps.

Even the ever-present venomous insects had vanished, as if something had swept through the area and cleared it out.

Dora felt a chill, not a mental one, but a real, physical coldness.

The temperature was obviously dropping, and the damp air carried a bone-chilling cold.

he cold

Even with her combat suit’s thermal regulation, she was starting to feel the cold creeping in

“Anyone else cold?” Dora asked.

“Definitely colder than before,” Elmer said, rubbing his arms.

Lioren moved closer to Dora, and she could feel a bit of warmth from his feline body through her artwor

Dora took out five steaming cups of Coffee Latte from her stasis space “Drink up, this’ll warm you and quickly realiv crystal energy.”

“What is this?” Elmer asked, curiosity lighting up his face as he grabbed acup

“It’s Coffee Latte,” Dora replied, cradling her own cup

The drink looked like some kind of fancy beverage was this really made in Dora’s Spatial Realm: Everyone eved it suspiciously, but still took a tentative first sip

The warm liquid slid down their throats, the rich aroma of coffee mixing with creamy milk.

A gentle warmth, infused with crystal energy, flowed through their bodies, spreaching to every limb. It chased away the cold and quickly restored the crystal energy they’d just spent in battle.

“This… Rafe stared at the amber liquid in his cup, his blue eyes wide with shock. “It’s so good

Elmer had already gulped down half his cup, letting our satisfied sigh “This is incredible! Dora you gotta show me how to make this when we’re back home.”

Clive didn’t say a word, but couldn’t hide the surprise in his eyes.

He looked at Dora, seemed like he wanted to say something, but just took another sip in silence.

Lioren elegantly licked the milk from the corner of his mouth, his amber eyes squinting in obvious delight
