Chapter 426 Pure Appreciation
Chapter 426 Pure Appreciation
Diana glanced their way and saw them quickly put on professional smiles before entering the room where Gary was
Shortly after, Gary walked out carrying a small keout bag
He straightened his shirt, looked around, and was about to leave when he spotted Isabelle and Diana in the pavilion.
Their eyes met for just a second, like passing strangers, then they all looked away.
“Second floor, Isabelle said.
“Should we go up now?” Diana asked.
“Let’s go”
They were just getting up to leave when a mum locked the walkway leading from the pavilion:
He was leaning against the railing, smiling at the two
It looked like Matthew, the man who’d been drinking with Gary.
Diana pulled Isabelle behind her.
“Lost? I can show you around.” Matthew said, standing up.
“Mr. Stewart, are you trying to pick us up?” Diana said with a cold laugh, looking him up and down.
“Don’t put it that way. A gentleman helps others fulfill their wishes.” Matthew took a step closer and lowered his voice, “You’ve been here a while, right? Haven’t found anyone you like? Maybe change your target. Consider me?”
Matthew had clearly mistaken them for women looking to hook up.
“Mr. Stewart, you’re an only child, aren’t you?” Dana asked with a smile.
“How’d you know? You’ve already looked me up Matthew chuckled
“Don’t need to. It’s obvious. I only see you, the big brother, but not the little brother.” Diana’s gaze drifted meaningfully downward.
Isabelle covered a laugh behind her

Diana continued, “Your face looks old, but down there seems lacking. With your physique, you want us? Don’t rush. Let me finish with a few others first.”
Matthew’s face flushed red.
How dare this woman be so rude?
“Mr. Stewart.” Matthew’s assistant, Joshua Phillips, hurried over. “We found the contact, but he doesn’t seem easy to deal with.”
Matthew turned his head. “There’s no such thing as ‘easy’ or ‘hard.’ Just send him a gift, and he’ll be easy. Don’t we have two right here?”
Joshua looked at the two women.
He understood.
Seeing no one else around, he took two steps toward Isabelle and Diana.
“Name your price,” he whispered.
The next second, Diana slapped Joshua’s face. He staggered, lost his grip on the low railing. and fell into the lake with a splash.
Matthew stared, shocked that she’d knocked Joshua into the water.
Furious, he waved to the two bodyguards behind him. “Teach them some manners.”
The moment he spoke, the two men lunged forward.
But before they could get past Matthew, another loud splash and frantic splashing came from behind him.
Matthew turned around just in time for a sharp slap to land on his own face.
“Ouch!” Matthew clutched his check. “How dare you hit me! Do you know who I…”
He froze mid-sentence, his words dying in his throat when he saw the man standing before
him.
It was Bruce. Bruce shook his stinging hand. Next to him stood Anthony
Anthony asked calmly, “Know what? Go on. I’m Istening.

misunderstanding…

He stared fearfully at the scar on Anthony’s left cheek, a chill running down his spine.
“A misunderstanding? What kind of misunderstanding?” Anthony’s face was expressionless. Matthew broke into a cold sweat. “I… I mistook them for someone else.”
Anthony slapped him across the other cheek, then kicked him straight into the water.
“So cool,” Diana couldn’t help exclaiming, nudging Isabelle.
“Remember, you’re a married woman,” Isabelle whispered through gritted teeth.
“It’s appreciation. Pure appreciation,” Diana said with a grin.
“Are you two alright?” Anthony asked.
“We’re fine,” Isabelle and Diana said in unison.
Anthony asked, “Heading up now? Or do you want to play some more?”
“We’re done playing.” They both shook their heads, smiling.
“Let’s go.” Anthony turned and led the way.
Isabelle and Diana followed.
Bruce took one last look at the three men floundering in the water.
A small crowd had already gathered to watch the spectacle as they struggled to find a way out.
They entered the private room. Besides the dining area, there was a separate section with a coffee bar, divided by a screen. They sat down there.
Anthony brewed a pot of coffee and had the server bring in some juice.
He was just as they remembered-quiet, reserved. Diana used to call him “the little mute.” and he never seemed to mind.
But Diana wouldn’t dare call him that now. She’d only learned his real identity last night.
Just because he’d done time didn’t make him a bad person.
“Looks like we have someone powerful on our sile now.” Diana said with a smile. “Why didn’t you look for us when you came back? Last time Lasked for help, you didn’t even show your face.”
