Chapter 467 An Ex’s Accusations
As soon as she finished speaking, her hand holding the phone stilled. “Do you know Anthony’s ex–girlfriend?”

* saw her once when we were having dinner the other day, but I don’t actually know her,” Isabelle said, her eyes still scanning the inventory list item by item. “Why do you ask?”
Isabelle looked up at her.
Diana bit her lip, frowning. “Lydia is Anthony’s ex–girlfriend.”
She handed her phone over for Isabelle to see.
Diana had rejected Lydia’s request for a custom gown and clearly stated that isabelle didn’t know her. She’d also warned Lydia to stop name–dropping Isabelle or there would be consequences.
But then Lydia had fired back, “Isn’t Isabelle also one of Anthony’s exes? How could she not know me?”
“Were you and Anthony… ever involved?” Diana asked, her expression genuinely puzzled.
“No…” Isabelle replied, equally surprised.
Anthony having feelings for her? Impossible–they could barely sustain a five–minute conversation.
“So… does Anthony have feelings for you?”
She wondered if there was some major misunderstanding at play.
Just then, Anthony appeared in the doorway of the design studio, watching the two of them.
He had clearly overheard.
“What are you doing up here?” Isabelle asked.
“My assistant has the car. I was hoping to borrow one of yours,” Anthony replied.
Isabelle had been dropped off by Bruce, who then left to pick up Damian.

Hearing this, Diana quickly put her phone away and fished her car keys out of her bag, handing them to Anthony
Anthony took the keys and was about to leave but paused at the threshold, turning back to look at them.
“Don’t pay any attention to Lydia. And don’t believe a word she says.”
“Okay,” Isabelle and Diana said in unison.
As soon as Anthony left, Daisy walked in carrying a large, neatly wrapped gift bag.
She had searched the entire courtyard and back area but couldn’t find Anthony anywhere.
She ended up coming upstairs and happened to catch Isabelle and Diana in what looked like a serious discussion about him.
“I couldn’t find him anywhere. Has Anthony left?” Daisy asked.

He had to go handle something. Just left, Diana replied.
“Talk about bad timing Daisy murroured, a hint of disappointment in her voice as her grip tightened on the bag.
“Here to return his jacket?” Diana asked with a knowing smile.
“Yeah, I wanted to thank him in person,” Daisy said sincerely. “Guess I’ll have to try another day.”
“You could just leave it here. He stops by almost every day.”
“No, I need to give it to him myself. I refuse to believe our paths won’t cross eventually!” Daisy said with determination before heading back downstairs.
Carrying the bag, she walked toward the studio entrance. Just as she stepped outside, she nearly collided with a sharply dressed
woman.
Distracted, Daisy bumped into her, and the gift bag tumbled from her hands. Inside, a suit carefully wrapped in a garment bag slipped partly out.
“Oh!” Daisy exclaimed.
The woman said flatly, “My apologies.”
Daisy took a proper look at her. It was Anthony’s ex–girlfriend, Lydia.
But Daisy didn’t know who she was.
Right in front of Isadiana Studio, Daisy didn’t want to make a scene. Most of their clients were influential people, and a public argument would look terrible for the studio’s reputation.
She frowned, calmly said it was fine, and carefully placed the suit back into the bag.
Lydia noticed the suit looked familiar–Anthony had worn one just like it. While tailored suits could look similar, the subtle pinstripe pattern on this one was distinctive. It had to be his. And this woman had just walked out of Isadiana Studio.
Was she an employee here?
A flicker of disdain crossed Lydia’s face before she brushed past Daisy and walked into the studio.
“What was her problem? So rude. And we’re supposed to take clients like that?” Daisy muttered to herself as she secured the suit back in the bag, then got into her car and drove off.
Upstairs, Isabelle was lost in thought, trying to piece together where the misunderstanding might have started.
She couldn’t just go ask Anthony about it–that would be far too awkward.
