Chapter 0030
Chapter 503 Catch a Cheater
Today, Brian told Isabelle he was going with Diana to a birthday thing for Beatrice
He doesn’t even try to make up a good excuse anymore
After Damian left, Isabelle took a shower, got into bed, and fell right asleep.
Sometime after eleven, her phone rang. It was Sophia. It rang twice, then stopped,
Isabelle forced her eyes open to check the time.
Sophia almost never called Isabelle, unless it was to pick a fight.
Isabel e hit call back. It went straight to voicemail.
Sophia, who had just dropped off a client, saw Isabelle’s missed call and sent it to voicemail.
She watched as Victoria, in a little black dress, walked alone into the same hotel suite Damian had gone into earlier.
She hadn’t known Damian was coming; she’d just seen him rushing in, without Dylan.
She’d figured it was just a business meeting. But now, seeing Victoria… that was harder to explain.
She opened her phone’s camera, hit record, and followed.
She paced outside the door for over ten minutes, her heart hammering.
So this is what it feels like to catch a cheater. It’s kind of a rush.
She took a deep breath and knocked on the suite door.
Dylan opened it.
Sophia slowly lowered her phone.
The room wasn’t empty. It was packed–a bunch of guys in suits. And Victoria was just standing there, behind Brian, looking
r confused.
“Ms. Tucker, everything okay?” Dylan asked.
Sophia froze. “Wrong room,” she mumbled, then turned and hurried away.
A little past midnight, Victoria walked out of the hotel alone, her high heels dangling from her fingers. She was barefoot, limping a little.
She couldn’t figure out why Damian had made her stand there through the whole meeting for over an hour. He hadn’t even offered
her a drink.
She only found out why when Dylan texted her the room number. They were wining and dining a big client. Damian had just told her to dress up and come.
She’d thought he was like other bosses, ready to pimp her out. She never expected that he just wanted her to stand there.

was the plan, I would’ve shocked big with my shoe
But Damian was different
Was it just to make Lydia see me?

Less than ten minutes later, isabelle got a text from an unknown number. It was a photo of Damian and Victoria going into the hotel, followed by a video of Victoria leaving barefoot, shoes in hand.
After Sophia’s call, Isabelle couldn’t get back to sleep. She got up to get a snack. Just as she picked up a glass of water, the text
came in.
The scund of shattering glass filled the kitchen.
“Ouch-”
She set her phone down. A few thin cuts marked the top of her foot.
“Oh, honey!” Susie came running in. “What happened?”
Isabelle’s face was blank as she grabbed a paper towel and dabbed her foot. “It’s nothing,” she said.
Susie helped her to the sofa and hurried to get the first aid kit.
“Nothing? You’re bleeding…” Susie said, her voice worried as she cleaned the cuts.
They weren’t deep, but they were long and thin from the glass.
Isabelle didn’t even flinch, just sat there in a daze.
After bandaging her foot, Susie cleaned up the kitchen and made Isabelle a little something to eat.
Damian came home just then. He saw Susie in the kitchen and Isabelle on the sofa, eyes closed, one bandaged foot propped up.
He put his coat down and walked over to her.
Maybe his steps were too loud; Isabelle woke as he got close.
He sat down, gently lifting her injured foot onto his lap. His eyes went to her phone beside her, the screen still lit, paused on the video of Victoria holding her shoes.
Isabelle quickly locked the screen.
Damian looked at her, then took her phone. “It’s not what it looks like. I thought I got back early, but she was faster than! expected,” he explained.
“Huh?” Isabelle looked at him.
