Chapter 628 Two Identical Bouquets
Lucas couldn’t help but laugh.
She used to call him a brute all the time. Now she seemed to be getting the hang of it herself.

Lynn instructed the nurse to prepare herbal medicine and deliver it morning and evening, making sure. Leonard drank it in front of her. If he refused, she was to bring the bodyguards.
It worked surprisingly well.
At first, the nurse didn’t dare go alone, so she took a bodyguard. Later, she went by herself.
Leonard stopped resisting and obeyed.
By the time his son returned from out of town, Leonard had mostly recovered.
“Brute, huh?” Lucas shook his head.
“I have to say, sometimes being unreasonable is a way to solve problems,” Lynn said to him.
Lucas frowned. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
She realized he’d taken her words personally.
She was starting to resemble Lucas more and more.
That roguish look, that brutish air, she’d even mimicked his expressions perfectly.
The clinic opened without further trouble. The foul smell at the entrance was gone, and the neighbors were moved by Lynn’s actions.
Lynn’s career as a practitioner had begun.
One day, as Lynn was about to close up, a young man appeared at the door.
He was holding a bouquet of eustoma and baby’s breath, and he walked right up to her.
“Hello, Dr. Murphy,” he said with a smile.
Lynn smiled back. “You are?”
He wasn’t tall, a little stocky. His face beamed, and the bouquet he held instantly carried an intimate air.
Lynn locked the door and stepped aside.
The man stepped closer. “I’m Leonard’s son, Anton Willis.”
“Anton,” Lynn gave an awkward smile. “Nice to meet you.”
She almost stumbled over her words.

“Pleasure to meet you! I’m so glad you could overlook the past and help my dad!” He took another step toward her and happily handed her the bouquet. “This is for you. I hope you like it.”
Lynn quickly waved her hands. “No, thank you! I can’t accept these!”
Anton grinned and forced the flowers into her arms. “I’ll treat you to a meal sometime! It’s a deal!”
As she tried to return the flowers, he had already walked away, leaving her baffled.
Lynn stood there dumbfounded.
As Anton left, he noticed Lucas standing nearby. He recognized him immediately from a brief encounter at the flower shop earlier.
“Is the person you like also around here?” Anton started to say something else, but afraid Lynn would return the flowers, he hurried off. “Talk next time!”
Lucas‘ expression darkened as he watched Anton leave.
Lynn looked at the bouquet. She hadn’t been able to return it, so she had no choice but to keep it. As she turned to leave, she saw Lucas leaning against the front of his car.
One hand in his pocket, the other holding a bouquet of customa and baby’s breath, dressed in a sharp suit.
He’d just been to the flower shop. He hadn’t known what to buy, but he happened to see Anton buying flowers.
The florist had asked Anton who the flowers were for. Anton said for the girl he liked.
The florist had recommended that bouquet.
Lucas had ordered the exact same one.
Lucas stared at the flowers in her hands.
The girl Anton wanted to give flowers to was Lynn.
Lynn walked toward him, looking at the identical bouquets.
She couldn’t help but give a wry smile. “He’s Leonard’s son. He gave them to thank me. I didn’t want them, but he forced them on me.”
Lucas replied, “I saw that.”
“Are you upset?” she asked.
Lucas smiled, took the bouquet from her, and pressed his own into her arms.
“My wife is beautiful. It’s normal for others to like you. I can’t take my eyes off you myself. Why would I be
