Harvey puffed out his little cheeks in clear annoyance. “My name isn’t Havie. It’s Harvey.”

“Alright then, Harvey.” Anthony held out his arms and lifted him up easily. “Come here, I will take you to get those balloons.”

Anthony had held Harvey many times long before Lyra and Luna were born. The little boy had never been shy or wary around him at all.

“Where’s Daisy?” Isabelle asked casually.

“She’s over with Joseph,” Anthony replied, grinning as he teased Harvey in his arms.

Damian shot him a playful look of disapproval. “You already have two little girls of your own. Still can’t get enough of holding kids?”

“It’s not the same thing,” Anthony said. He carried Harvey away and walked over to where his two daughters were playing.

“How exactly is it different?” Damian pressed.

Isabelle smiled softly, “Do you think he’s planning an arranged play marriage for the kids?”

“Not a chance.” Damian shook his head. “He’s a total girl dad. He’d definitely pile on endless engagement gifts down the line.” He glanced toward Anthony. “It’s been ages since I last saw him. He’s really changed a lot.”

“He’s just as stubborn and rigid as you are,” Isabelle retorted. “Someone’s gotta keep him in line.”

Damian let out a low huff. “We’ll see who ends up keeping who in line.”

The two were chatting when Daisy walked over to join them.

“When did Joseph even start seeing someone?” Isabelle’s tone was full of gossipy curiosity. “He’s getting married out of nowhere–is it a shotgun wedding?”

“No one knows exactly when they got together,” Daisy said. “But he had his eye on her from the very first day they met.” She glanced around the crowd, looking puzzled.

She’d just seen Anthony entertaining the children a moment ago, and now he’d wandered off with Harvey in tow.

The wedding ceremony soon got underway. Harvey didn’t come back. Instead, he stayed playing with toys side by side with Lyra and Luna.

Anthony turned to Daisy and spoke in a quiet, suggestive tone. “Don’t you think something’s missing from our family?”

“Huh?” Daisy looked confused. Her gaze was still fixed on Lyra and Luna, and she thought she’d forgotten to bring something along.

Anthony smiled faintly, “We need a baby boy. A family isn’t complete without a little man around the house.”

“Aren’t you the man of the house already?” Daisy mumbled. She glanced around nervously, relieved no one nearby had overheard their conversation.

Anthony reached over and took her hand in his. “It’s not the same at all.”

Daisy ignored his teasing and turned her attention to Joseph, who was walking up onto the stage with Grace at his side.

Damian looked over at Isabelle with a soft tone. “We’ve been putting off our own wedding for far too long.”

He had wanted to hold a proper wedding ever since Harvey turned one. Isabelle had spent the past two years resting and taking care of her health, and she’d never wanted to go through all the hassle of a big

ceremony.

They already had their child, and the person she loved most was right beside her. She had no extra wishes nor any desire to go through all the trouble of a grand wedding.

“I think we’ll have to put it off for another year or two,” Isabelle said.

Damian looked slightly disappointed. “Why wait even longer?”

Isabelle took his hand and placed it lightly over her stomach. “The timing just isn’t right yet.”

Damian’s eyes slowly drifted from her face down to her abdomen, then back up to meet her gaze again.

Isabelle nodded at him with a warm smile.

A wide, joyful grin suddenly spread across Damian’s face. “Then we’ll wait another two years.”

Joseph and Grace finished their ceremony and stepped down from the stage right as Harvey came running

back over.

“Daddy, he is gone now,” Harvey said, staring at the balloons beside the stage.

Isabelle pinched his chubby cheek and laughed. “Don’t listen to your dad’s silly nonsense.”

“Daddy never lies,” Damian said. He leaned down, picked Harvey up, and set him comfortably on his lap.

On their way home, Damian ended up taking two whole bouquets of the wedding balloons with him.

Daisy frowned at his bold move. “Can’t you afford to buy your own balloons?”

“It’s never about the money,” Damian said with a cheeky smile. He reached out and ruffled Harvey’s hair, as the boy lingered curiously by the car trunk.

The following year, Isabelle gave birth to their second son. They named him Harold Cross.

As soon as the doctor told Damian it was another baby boy, he only glanced at the newborn, then stayed by Isabelle’s side the entire time.

“Are you disappointed?” Isabelle asked.

Damian shook his head. “I just would’ve loved a little girl–one who looks just like you.”

He couldn’t help feeling a little envious whenever he saw Anthony’s two daughters. He’d always wanted a baby girl of his own.

“Thank you,” he murmured, brushing stray strands of hair away from her forehead. “No more kids. The three of us men will take good care of you from now on.”

Isabelle smiled softly at his words.
