“Get the team started on the process,” Andrew ordered firmly.

“Understood, sir,” Joe replied, beginning to move toward the door.

But just as he took a few steps, Andrew called him back.

“Keep the process straightforward,” he added thoughtfully after a brief pause.

Joe blinked in surprise. Was the boss planning to cut some corners or find an easier way?

“Got it,” Joe confirmed without hesitation.

Almost immediately after the directive was sent, Ronald received a swift confirmation from FX Nova Group. Both sides were eager to close the deal quickly, and their mutual urgency naturally accelerated the entire procedure.

By the time the weekend came to an end, Seraphina was on the bus heading back to campus. The vehicle was filled with students, some from Bloomington School, easily recognizable by their uniforms. They kept stealing glances at her.

“Isn’t that Seraphina?” a girl whispered to her friend.

“It definitely is,” the other replied.

“Why’s she taking the bus?” the first asked, curiosity tinged with surprise.

“Maybe she wants to live like ordinary people for a bit,” the second said, a hint of envy in her voice.

“Quiet, don’t let her hear you,” the first cautioned.

Seraphina ignored the stares and whispers, exiting the bus gracefully once it stopped. She walked confidently through the school gates, her posture calm and composed. But barely had she stepped inside when Theron suddenly appeared, blocking her way.

She lifted her gaze to meet his. “What do you want?” she asked coolly.

Theron hesitated, searching for the right words. Finally, he spoke. “Why haven’t you been bringing me food lately?”

Since Linara had stopped sending meals to him, Seraphina hadn’t had any reason to deliver anything.

“That food wasn’t from me,” she replied evenly. “I was just the messenger.”

She had said this before, but Theron never seemed to take it seriously. To him, it was just her way of being shy, unwilling to admit her true feelings.
