Chapter 128
Dylan
It didn’t take long to figure out who had the nerve to break into my home and steal my wife.
The maid refused to say much, only that two men approached her and offered a deal she
accepted. But once I checked the CCTV footage, everything made sense. I recognized one of the
men instantly.
Jack.
I’d seen him hanging around Pascal a few times, so it didn’t take long before the picture became
clear. Pascal. Of course it was him.
Over the years, Pascal has built himself up-strong in business, strong physically, but I never once
gave him space in my mind as an enemy. The world is big enough for all of us.
But to him?
I’ve always been a threat. And it only got worse when everyone found out Bella was my mate.
He tried everything to humiliate me in public. And then I realized why, Pascal was obsessed with
her. Obsessed with Bella. Of all people. That cursed woman.
But now that she’s gone… when I get her back, what exactly am I supposed to do with her?
I sighed, leaning back in my chair as the questions pressed on me. Do I keep her locked in that
attic? Or do I kill her and end it once and for all?
I can kill her, easily-once I reject her, but do I? Maybe I should. It would stop this endless torment. Why keep torturing her slowly when I feel every bit of her pain through the bond?
But… why haven’t I rejected her already?
The answer sat bitter on my tongue, sharp like betrayal. It felt like disloyalty to Cherry.
Yes. I hadn’t rejected Bella because I kept hoping she would change. I hoped she would regret everything, come to me, ask for forgiveness, and in that moment, I know myself-I would have forgiven her. A part of me still believed there was good in everyone. And above all…
I loved her.
I truly loved the woman who pushed Cherry to kill herself.
Pathetic.

Chapter 128
Clair
I wasn’t even sure why I called Osborne, or why I felt the need to tell him anything, but since he and Bella shared a history, it felt like the smartest move. With him involved, we can put an end to this
mess quickly.
My eyes drifted back to the mating ceremony invitation Alpha Maurice sent me. The boy is getting married this weekend. Once that’s over, I won’t waste another second. Osborne and I will take
action immediately.
The sooner I clean up this disaster, the better it will be for everyone. Bella being alive is dangerous enough, but now she’s with a powerful man? Nothing about that sits right. And I pray she hasn’t regained her full memory yet, because if she has, chaos is guaranteed.
Octavia
I still can’t believe that soon, Maurice and I will finally be one. I never imagined being mated to an Alpha, but now… I can’t picture life without him.
These past days, he has been so sweet, clingy even and we’ve shared countless kisses. He respects my wish to wait until after the ceremony, so he never goes beyond kissing and light
touching.
But in two days, everything changes. It will be my first time… when we will eventually make love. I can’t help wondering what it will feel like to be in his arms, what it will feel like when he finally takes
I really shouldn’t be thinking about that, should I? I don’t even know-
“Ma’am, you’re smiling,” the designer says gently.
I snapped out of my thoughts, cheeks burning. “Oh-sorry, I spaced out.”
“Anyone would,” she said with a warm smile. “You’re getting married soon. I’d be more concerned
if you weren’t smiling.”
I let out a shy laugh and looked down at my hands.
She wasn’t done. “But you’re going to be the future Luna. You need to start meeting people’s eyes, be more confident.”
I looked up at her and nodded, taking her words to heart.
“Please take care of our Alpha,” she added softly.
I laughed, nodding again, my heart fluttering at the thought.
Before I knew it, the day of the mating ceremony arrived, and I found myself dressed in the most beautiful white gown I had ever worn. The moment I saw my reflection, I barely recognized myself,

Chapter 128
I looked like a true princess. The makeup, the dress, the glow… everything was perfect.
Soon-very soon-I would be married.
Claird
As I admired my reflection, a sudden knock echoed at the door. The maids paused immediately, turning toward the sound.
“Come in,” I called.
A maid stepped in, carrying a bouquet and a small letter. She approached carefully and handed
both to me.
“This was left for you, ma’am,” she said.
I nodded, taking them from her. When I opened the letter, it read:
“Congratulations on your mating ceremony. I wish you a pleasant day.”
But there was no name. No signature. Nothing to indicate who sent it. Strange, but I assumed it must have come from one of the guests or pack members.
Setting the letter aside, I drew in a steadying breath.
Just then, another voice called from outside, “It’s time. We should be heading to the cathedral.”
My heart fluttered.
This was it.
Today, I was going to marry him, Maurice.
Could this day possibly get any happier?
I was guided out through the back door and down the quiet hallway, apparently no one was supposed to see the bride before the ceremony. My personal maid and two guards flanked me as we approached the two cars waiting outside.
One of the guards opened the door, and we stepped in. As soon as the engine hummed to life, I exhaled shakily, trying to calm the frantic rhythm of my heart. It was almost time, and every
passing second made it feel more real.
Still, the nerves about the wedding weren’t the only thing bothering me. When I lifted my gaze, I caught sight of the driver through the rear-view mirror. The moment our eyes met, he smiled at
