Side Story 25-2
“Father-I’m sorry! I didn’t-”
“You didn’t what?” I roared. “She hasn’t even shifted! The girl has no wolf, and you impregnated
her?”
My rage spiked. This could ruin everything. A Luna must be strong-must have a wolf./A weak,
wolfless girl would drag our chances into the mud.
“What have you done?” My voice was monstrous.
He knelt, trembling, hands shaking violently.
“Please, Father… talk to Abel for me. Please.”
I looked down at him-pathetic, useless, disappointing.
“A disgrace,” I hissed. “Leave before I shred you to pieces.”
He bolted out instantly, knowing I meant every word.
As soon as he disappeared, I hissed under my breath,
“Oh, Abel… I see what you’re trying to do. You think you’re smart.”
A dark smile stretched across my face.
“I’ll show you exactly what I’m capable of.”
I refused to accept any of this. Rage punched through me so sharply that I slammed my fist into the wall, biting down hard on my teeth to keep from shouting.
I let my feet carry me out of the room, each step echoing loudly against the floor. I had to find that prick immediately. There was no way, absolutely no way, I was going to allow my son to marry that
girl.
Pamela Sinclair. Everyone knew her name. The embarrassment of the Sinclair family-the girl who couldn’t even shift. Her father, a man who follows every order I give, is nothing more than a pawn in my game. But even then, even with all the control I hold over that family, I would never allow my son to marry her simply because of a mistake he made one single time.
As I walked past the wolves, they all bowed out of respect. They knew better than to cross me. Ten long minutes passed before I finally reached his personal quarters. Just as I was about to step in, the idiots guarding the door had the nerve to block my path. My eyes widened with disbelief, fury burning through my veins.

Side Story 25-2
“State your business,” one of those fools dared to say.
Clai
“Are you insane?” I snapped. “Are you telling me I cannot walk in and speak to my own nephew?”
But he didn’t flinch. He didn’t move.
“The Alpha is not here right now,” he replied calmly. “Leave. When he returns, someone will be sent
to get you.”
My fists tightened so hard my knuckles nearly cracked. Just yesterday, I was the ruling Alpha-the one every single person feared. And now? Now I couldn’t even step foot into a space that used to
belong to me.
A short, bitter chuckle slipped from my mouth.
Then, in the distance, I heard engines approaching. Cars. That had to be him.
I marched toward the entrance, and when he came into view, he was holding a sleeping girl in his
arms.
“I need to speak with you,” I said immediately-no greetings, no formalities.
He looked at me briefly, grunted, and responded, “Twenty minutes from now. Come to the office.”
Then he turned to leave.
But I growled, “Now is the time.”
He stopped. Slowly, he glanced over his shoulder, eyes sharp. “What did you just say, Klaus?”
His tone was hard, daring-challenging me to repeat myself.
This bastard.
I clicked my tongue and looked away, refusing to answer, and he continued walking without a care.
This fool…
I’ll handle him.
Just like I handled his useless father-my own brother.
His beta looked me straight in the eye and even smiled.
“Do you wish to enter and wait for him?” the little thing asked, talking to me like he had any right.
“And who the fuck are you to ask me that?” I snapped, but his face stayed blank as he replied,
“I am not like Alpha Abel who says little to no words, Klaus.”
How dare he call me by my name without a title.
