Side Story 41-2
And then I met the Alpha of the Silver Crest Pack-my father. The moment I saw him, I knew. I looked just like him. There was no denying it. I also resembled my half-brother.
For the first time in my life, it felt good to look like someone.
I also met his mate-my half-sister.

Knowing that I had an entire family made all the years of loneliness and mistreatment disappear in the blink of an eye.
And now, my family feels truly complete. When Aira visited again, she shared all the struggles and
heartbreaks she had endured over the years, and I opened up about mine as well.
Speaking our truths, letting go of the pain, felt like a weight had been lifted from both of us. The
relief, the honesty, and the connection we shared made me realize just how far I had come.
I never imagined my life could be this simple, this full of laughter, warmth, and the kind of quiet
happiness I had longed for all my life. Indeed, the journey had been long, but the destination made
it worth every struggle.
Time passed, and soon I gave birth to our daughter. She had my eyes, my smile, and the spark that
made Abel light up with joy every time he looked at her.
Watching him hold her, so tender, so proud, I felt a wave of gratitude for the life we had built together. Abel had proven time and again that he was not only the strongest mate but also the most devoted husband and father to our children. The Moon Goddess had truly blessed me in pairing me with him, and I knew that I had found the love of my life.
Then, the day we had waited for finally arrived-the day Alpha Osborne came to visit. He had promised Abel a fight, a test of strength and skill, and he did not back down from it. Our house buzzed with excitement, every member of our family taking their places to cheer. While my family and I shouted encouragement for Abel, his family stood firmly behind him, creating a playful, competitive atmosphere. Laughter and cheer filled the air, the kind that makes homes feel alive.
Abel fought valiantly, but Osborne was younger, quicker, and in the end, he claimed victory. Still, it
wasn’t the result that mattered-it was the joy, the camaraderie, the unity that wrapped us all
together in that moment. Seeing Abel laugh, seeing our children watch wide-eyed, and feeling the warmth of my family surrounding me, I realized that life had finally given me the peace I had longed for.
My past-the pain, the longing-felt distant now. In its place was love, laughter, and the kind of contentment I had only dared to dream of. As I watched Abel with our children, a quiet smile

spread across my face. My life, after all the hardships, had ended up exactly as it should have: full, peaceful, and overflowing with the love I had fought so long to earn.
The End.
Osborne on finding out Aina is pregnant with their first child.
I was in the middle of a meeting when my phone rang urgently. Seeing Aina’s name on the screen brought a smile to my face-my sugar plum. I placed the phone to my ear, ready to hear her sweet voice, but the way she spoke immediately set off alarm bells.
“I… I don’t know, Osborne,” she said hesitantly. “I just don’t feel right.”
My heart skipped a beat. I glanced at Alex, who immediately understood something was wrong. quickly stood, addressing everyone in the room. “Beta Alex will continue from here,” I said, before
hurrying out, my men following close behind.
Aina wasn’t the type to call me just to complain. Something serious must be happening. I called the doctor immediately. “Head to my home-my wife isn’t feeling well.” Then I called Aina again,
reassuring her I would be home as soon as possible.
The drive was agonizing, each second stretching unbearably. When I arrived, I sprinted through the
house to where she was. I found her lying on the bed. The moment she saw me, she smiled-a
smile that was different from the one she had this morning, it was weak.
“Why are you like this, huh?” I asked, my voice trembling with worry.
She reached up, gently touching my face. “You shouldn’t worry so much, Osborne,” she said softly.
But something still felt off. I looked at the doctor-and noticed he was smiling. Then I turned back
to her. Her voice, sweet and calm, carried words I could hardly believe:
“I’m pregnant.”
My eyes widened in disbelief. I couldn’t believe what I had just heard.
“Come again?” I asked, my voice almost breaking.
And then she said it again, and I felt a lump in my throat. I knew I might cry right there, in front of
the doctor.
“You and I, Osborne… we’re going to be parents.”
A rush of emotion escaped me-a chuckle, shaky and overwhelmed, as my eyes began to water.
“You don’t mean it,” I whispered, my lips trembling with the weight of the words.
“Congratulations, Alpha,” the doctor said, bowing respectfully.
