Book 2:Chapter 27-2
When the day finally came, Luna Lara gave birth to two sons. When the second child was placed in her arms, she stared down at him, her heart breaking as she knew what was to come. Before he was taken away, she whispered through her tears, pressing a gentle kiss to his temple.
“You are the unfortunate one, my Helio.”
Then she handed him to the midwife.
The pack was soon informed that Alpha Clinton Chester had an heir. No one ever knew the truth- that he had two sons and chose to hide one of them, keeping him far away, deep within the
mansion, a secret he intended to carry with him to the grave.
While one child grew surrounded by love-treated like a prince, adored by all-the other remained locked away in solitude.
The only people he ever knew, apart from his parents, were two: his nanny, and a man named
Calisto.
Calisto was the one who taught the boy manners, discipline, and words, even while he was hidden
from the rest of the world.
His parents visited him sometimes-not often, but occasionally. Yet even as a child, he understood something without ever being told: the people called his parents did not treat him like their son. They never stayed longer than thirty minutes.
Then one night, while he slept, he heard soft footsteps.
He sat up just as a girl appeared before him, pressing one finger to her lips, silently warning him.
not to make a sound.
He had never seen her before. She was bigger than him, but not like the adults who came and went. There was something different about her that night-something no one had ever given him
before.
She smiled.
When she moved closer, she whispered, “Hi. I’m Danae… your sister.”
Her fingers lifted, grazing his cheeks gently. Her smile trembled, her eyes filling with tears.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t come sooner,” she whispered as tears slid down her face.
That night was the first time the boy had ever witnessed so many emotions in a single person.

Book 2 Chapter 27-2
From that day onward, he was no longer alone.
Clain
He had a visitor-one who came quietly, faithfully. She read him stories and played with him, teaching him things no one else ever had. She taught him what love felt like. Sometimes she would
pull him into her arms, holding him close, letting him sleep against her warmth. That warmth
became the only one he ever truly knew.
Years passed, and with time came lōriging.
The boy began to want more. He wanted to see the world-what it really looked like beyond locked
doors and stone walls. He begged his sister to let him go outside, even if only once. But she always refused, fear tightening her voice as she reminded him that if their father ever found out, they would both be in serious trouble.
Then one night, everything changed.
Alpha Clinton came to see his second son, as he sometimes did, under the cover of darkness. What he did not expect was to find Danae there.
“What are you doing here?” he demanded sharply. “And how did you find out?”
He scolded her harshly, his voice low but furious. Yet Danae did not shrink back. She stood her ground, bold and unafraid, staring her father straight in the eyes.
