Of course Ross was at this Supermarket, even though he and Belle broke up, he was still a part of Moon Shadow Pack.

But I make a not to myself to find a supermarket closer to Blood Moon Pack, I couldn’t risk this again.

“I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to call you by your name? How should I address you?” He asked with his brows furrowed, I could tell that he was confused by this whole situation.

“Since we’re out of the office, I’ll address you as Ross, and you can call me Natalie.” I told him.

I had to keep up appearances and the truth of the matter is that I we “Ised to it. I was used to my carefree lifestyle, which I had adopted since she I was young, it was only when I got to Blood Moon Pack, that was the first time that people started calling me Ms. Nichols and I found it weird, but they had to do that because I was the Alpha’s daughter.

I was definitely not used to becoming the center of everyone’s attention, more so to be addressed as the Chairman.

“N–Natalie?” He stammered.

Observing the awkward expression Ross put on as he tried to force my name out of his lips, Xavier burst into laughter. “My Mommy doesn’t bite! You don’t need to be afraid of her!”

“You are…?” Ross asked, that’s right, I completely forgot. Ross doesn’t know that I have children,

I bent down and ruffled the my boys head and said, “This is my youngest son, Xavier Edmund.”

“Youngest son?”

“Yes, that little guy over by the candy aisle, that’s his older brother Clayton.”

He looked so shocked and perplexed as he looked at me and the boys.

“I’m pretty sure you’re old enough to know how babies are made Ross,” I tell him and I immediately his face turns red.

“No, no, I’m sorry that’s not what I meant. It’s just that you’re so young and you’ve been able to do so much. I mean you’ve built a thriving company and you’re a mother all at a young age, it’s all just really impressive.” He tells me.

“Oh, thank you.” He was the first person that was not part of my close circle tjat had said such kind words.

“What about their father?” He asks me.

“Their biological father had gotten himself into trouble with the law and disappeared. I’m guessing that he found his final resting place in the countryside somewhere.” I didn’t want to say that might be dead because the boys were here so I used a more colourful language, but I don’t think the boys really care. I mean they never actually believed that he was their father.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to,” Ross instantly apologized.

“It’s all right.” Xavier pipes up, smiling up at Ross and tugged the end of his shirt. “My brother and I are working really hard to find a new daddy for my Mommy. We’ve already found someone, but my Mommy is too stubborn to say yes.”

“Please help my brother and me to convince her so that we can finally have a step–dad!” Clayton said with a firm expression, these two always piling on and helping each other, some times it cute and other times like now, it isn’t.

They both had their backs to me, so they didn’t see it coming as I smackes the back of their heads.

“Ouch! Mommy, aren’t you afraid of hurting me?” Xavier asked.

“Yeah mummy, that hurt.” Clayton said.

“Are you still going to speak nonsense?” I asked them

“I won’t anymore.” Xavier shook his head and frowned and then I looked at Clayton and he shook his head too.

The three of us then left the market and headed to a nearby restaurant, Ross invited us to lunch and I couldn’t say no especially with the boys there pestering me.

Ross, who was clean–shaven and clad in a suit, led the way toward our destination with Xavier walking next to him while Clayton stuck to my side. We passed a window and the four of us looked like a family heading down to lunch.

And it looks like I wasn’t the only one that noticed this, we seem to have caught the attention of the people around us, the passersbys craned their necks just to get a look at us and I already knew what was coming next, it was not the first time something like this has happened and I’m used to it.

Anytime I’m out with the boys, people always assume that I’m their nanny and when they find out that I’m their mother, they don’t believe it, they’re always shocked.

Once the four of us entered the restaurant and found their seats, Ross and Xavier immediately opened the menus, while Clayton was so busy with his game. It was always like this, I always had to order for him when we went out. But Xavier and Ross were very considerate of me and were the epitome of gentlemen.

The heartwarming scene caused every waitress in the restaurant to be filled with jealousy.

“How is it possible that an ugly lady like her managed to snag a handsome man and give birth to an equally good–looking child?” I heard one of them snicker u heir breath.

“She must have done something amazing in her past life to deserve this!” Another said.

“Exactly! Have you seen how well her husband is treating her?” The first one replied.

I just shook my head because I was used to it and they could say what they liked but I was in no way going to correct them.

I was walking out of a private room with the intention of smoking when I overheard the waitresses‘ gossip.

Unable to suppress my curiosity, I glanced over to the table and instantly found Natalie having a lovely dinner with another man.

Unbelievable!

I was already well aware that Natalie’s capabilities were well above average, but I did not know that this freckled woman was this capable.

Not only did she manage to tame my wild niece and nephew who didn’t listen to anyone, but she was also able to snag such a handsome young man for herself.

One really could not judge a book by its cover.

It really did not matter if a woman was pretty or not, as long as she was capable.

With this knowledge, I soon lost my carlier desire to have a smoke. I turned around and returned to the private dining room.

I was having lunch with my brother and Yohan Kennedy, he was a close friend and he was in town for the week, he’s also the Alpha of Quarry Pack.

Noticing how I had entered the room not even a few minutes after I left for a smoke, Yohan couldn’t help but tease me. “Are you that fast?”

I paid no attention to Yohan and instead sat down next to my brother. “Sam, guess who I saw just now?”

Samuel pursed his lips into a thin line and said nothing, always so grumpy.

Even after getting ignored by him, I did not let it get to me, for I continued describing vividly what I saw. “Sam, I saw Natalie and her boyfriend.”

“Her boyfriend is pretty good–looking, I’ll admit, but not as handsome as we are. He’s probably as good–looking as Yohan.” I said to him and he immediately stopped what he was doing and looked up at me.

“What did you just say?”
