Chapter 19: Why Did He Save Me?

My long, white hair drew behind him like a rope as he held me naked within his robust arms, carrying me from the stage.

My head rests against his thick, muscular chest. The smell of him somehow made me feel safe with him.

“Carrying her to screw her?” Alpha Alexander inquired of Alpha Strider.

Alpha Strider said nothing and continued to carry me away.

“Remember your rule!” Alexander shouted angrily.

“You should, too,” Alpha Strider responded back.

“I’ll be back, and when I do, I expect that bitch to be handed to me, or else there will be a war,” said Alpha Alexander before going off.

I closed my eyes, ashamed as Alpha Strider passed the large crowd, watching me.

I wanted to escape from him, but I was too weak. I could do nothing but lie within his arms and let him. carry me to who knows where.

My heart began to beat fast within my chest as I worried about where he was taking me.

What was he going to do with me?

A few minutes later I found myself being placed down, and I opened my eyes quickly to see I was being placed in a bed.

“Don’t think I saved you because I like you?” Alpha Strider said harshly as he was doing so.

My eyes widened in shock and started to fill with tears from his harsh words. I wished he had just left me without saying anything.

Tears escape from my blue eyes, running down my cheeks as he continues to stare at me.

“Your tears won’t save you,” he again said.
