Mr. John was about to speak when the doors to the training room opened and a student in a black uniform walked in.

She bowed to the man for a few seconds before raising her head to speak to him.

“I’m sorry to interrupt sir but Alessa is needed urgently in Madam Olga’s office.” The student rushed her words.

“Alessa?” Mr. John asked and looked at the students. Alessa sighed before raising her hand and he mouthed an ‘oh’

Without saying anything, Alessa walked out of the room with the student.

The walk to Madam Olga’s office was quiet. Alessa hoped it was Rico waiting for her in the office.

They got to the office and the ranked student turned to her.

“Go in,” she ordered and walked away. Alessa walked into the office and paused when she saw Rico pacing.

She was about to smile when he turned to her and she noticed how worried he looked.

“What did you do?” he snapped at her immediately and Alessa flinched a little. She was confused and a little bit terrified.

“Huh?” she asked, confused.

“What did you do?” Rico asked again.

“What? What’s wrong?” Alessa asked.

“Last night, Olga ordered them to take your kids away, and they took them from me,” he said and Alessa’s eyes widened in shock.

“Wh… what?” she stuttered in fear.

“I came to see Olga today to know what was going on and when I got here I was informed she hasn't been in the building since last night,” he explained and Alessa furrowed her brows.

“What? What… “

“Did you do something? Did you upset her?”

“No, no,” Alessa replied. She was confused and her heart was racing so fast.

“Are you sure? She can't just decide to take your children out of the blue.” Rico said and Alessa stared at him with her lips parted slightly as she tried to think.

Alessa hesitated a little before walking out of the office. She ran her hands through her hair as she muttered prayers. She hoped her kids were okay and all this was nothing.

Alessa waited as she sat on the floor with her back against the wall. She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around herself.

She cried silently as she waited for Rico.

After what seemed like forever to her, the doors to the office opened. Alessa stood up immediately as Rico walked out.

“What happened? Are my babies okay?” she asked as she moved closer to him. Rico stared at her with no expression. He was quiet.

“Say something. Where are my babies?” Alessa raised her voice at him.

Rico slowly patted her shoulder as he held her gaze.

“I’ll see you soon, Alessa,” he said and walked away leaving Alessa confused.

“Rico!” Alessa screamed at him but he kept walking without looking back at her!
