The CEO’s Regret My Ex-Wife is a Tech Goddess novel Chapter 175

Alaina was completely swept up in the moment, her breath hitching in her throat.

Staring into his deep, captivating eyes just inches away, she could clearly see her own reflection shining back at her.

"Yes," she murmured, her voice as quiet as a whisper before immediately springing up and fleeing the room.

When she stepped out of the bathroom after her shower, Silas was already waiting for her by the vanity.

He pulled out the chair for her to sit, then took the towel from her hands. He began gently pressing the fabric against her damp ends to absorb the moisture, his movements incredibly careful and tender—a stark contrast to his usual decisive, cold demeanor.

Once her hair was mostly dry, he plugged in the hairdryer, set it to a low temperature, and gathered her long hair in one hand while slowly moving the dryer with the other.

His fingertips occasionally grazed her scalp, sending a light, tingling sensation through her that made her relax completely. She couldn't help but narrow her eyes in bliss, much like a kitten being petted perfectly.

The warm air from the dryer swept softly over her strands. His fingers massaged her scalp through her hair with the perfect amount of pressure, not pulling or hurting her in the slightest.

Alaina looked at Silas in the mirror. His tall, broad-shouldered posture and the serious look in his lowered eyes made her zone out for a moment.

Her heart, which had just been wrapped in warmth, suddenly gave a sharp, inexplicable ache.

"You're a liar," she suddenly spoke up.

Silas glanced at her reflection in the mirror but didn't say a word.

"Are you sure you haven't had other women before me?" she teased, crossing her arms.

Silas didn't stop moving his hands, a low, husky chuckle rumbling in his chest.

Then, unhurriedly, he said, "I had a great teacher."

Alaina smiled, thinking that made total sense. She couldn't help but ask, "Director Summers hired a tutor just to fulfill my little wish? Don't tell me you practiced on one of your agents? Or... Zachary?"

"It was my father," Silas replied.

Alaina froze slightly, falling silent.

"Right now, I'm just imitating what I remember him doing," Silas continued.
