The CEO’s Regret My Ex-Wife is a Tech Goddess novel Chapter 204

Ethan locked his car, feigning nonchalance. "Did you need something?"

Logan marched up and grabbed him fiercely by the collar. "Where's Alaina? Where the hell did you take her?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Ethan replied, his face an icy mask.

"Cut the crap," Logan spat. "Listen to me, Ethan. I don't care what your pathetic excuse is. You're going to take me to Alaina right now."

Dropping the act, Ethan gave a dry smirk. Showing absolutely zero remorse, he shoved Logan's hands away. "I'm not going to hurt her. If you actually care about her well-being, stay out of this."

"You're her childhood friend. You're her best friend. No one knows better than you just how much she loved me."

"Without Silas interfering, she and I can finally sit down and sort this out."

Logan scoffed in pure disbelief. "You're a psycho. You didn't cherish her when you actually had her, and now you pull a stunt like this? Don't you realize how sickening you are?"

"What did Alaina ever owe you? She threw her entire future away just to help you get back on your feet. She finally managed to scrape together a peaceful life, and you just have to drag her back into your mess?"

Ethan stared at him, entirely unfazed. "If you have proof, go ahead and call the cops." He turned to head inside.

"Stop right there," Logan roared. "I have to tell you something. And when I'm done, if you have even a shred of humanity or a single drop of conscience left in you, you'll put an end to this madness right now."

Ethan frowned.

Logan glared at him dead in the eye. "I can understand your desperate obsession to win her back. But if you ever truly loved Alaina, I hope you'll choose to let her go and wish her the best after you hear this. She's already done more than enough for you. If she owed you a debt from a past life, she's paid it in full."
