The CEO’s Regret My Ex-Wife is a Tech Goddess novel Chapter 210

Late into the night.

Lily Summers was partying recklessly at a nightclub with her circle of friends.

She was already cross-eyed from the alcohol, a slim cigarette pinched between her fingers. The thick smoke blurred the vicious, toxic resentment burning in her eyes.

Her friends had specifically hired a few handsome male models to entertain her and lift her spirits.

She violently slapped away the men's overly eager hands and downed a massive gulp of iced whiskey. The harsh liquor burned down her throat, fueling the suffocating rage that was already boiling over in her chest.

Finishing her drink, she slammed the empty glass onto the table with such force that it shattered. Shards of glass flew everywhere, causing the people around her to flinch back in shock. She let out a manic laugh, her eyes bloodshot, strands of messy hair plastered to her booze-soaked face. "What's everyone panicking for? Drinks are on me tonight! Let's get crazy!"

With that, she dug her phone out of her purse and dialed Ethan's number.

Hearing the automated message that his phone was switched off, she bit her lower lip and cackled before ruthlessly smashing her phone against the floor, instantly spiderwebbing the screen.

Seeing this, her friends quickly dismissed the male models.

"Lily, let it go," one of them coaxed. "A guy like that isn't worth ruining your night over. You're the Summers heiress. You can have any man you want."

Lily whipped her head around and sneered. "Who the hell do you think you are, telling me what to do?"

Her friends exchanged annoyed glances and seamlessly walked out of the private booth together in silent agreement.

There was no screaming match, and the room instantly fell silent. Yet, in that deafening quiet, Lily finally understood what it felt like to be completely abandoned.

"Get out! All of you, get the hell out!" Lily shrieked at the empty room. "I don't need anyone!"

Stumbling out of the booth shortly after, she drunkenly got into her car and peeled away from the club.

The late-night streets were completely deserted. The alcohol burned away all logic, leaving only extreme, unhinged thoughts swirling violently in her mind.
