The CEO’s Regret My Ex-Wife is a Tech Goddess novel Chapter 234

He paused, then looked dead at Logan with absolute earnestness. "Long time no see. Do you still remember me?"

Logan forced a stiff smile and nodded.

"Jasper, if you're not busy, why don't you sit with us?" Alaina asked with a grin. Seeing him nod, she quickly shimmied over to make room in the middle of the bench.

Jasper sat down. "I just finished up anyway. I hope I'm not interrupting?"

"Not at all!" Alaina chimed in immediately, secretly winking at Logan.

Logan shot her an exasperated glare, instantly looking like he was sitting on pins and needles.

Jasper turned to Logan. "Your old number is out of service. Could I get your new one?"

"I..." Logan was still racking his brain for a polite excuse to refuse.

But Alaina had already reached right into Logan's pocket and fished out his phone. "Here, Jasper, just add him on social media."

Logan shot daggers at her with his eyes, but she couldn't care less.

After adding the contact, Jasper stood up. "I've got somewhere to be, so I won't hold you up. Let's catch up later."

Alaina nodded. "See you later, Jasper! Let's grab food sometime."

Jasper nodded and turned to leave.

Once she was absolutely sure Jasper was out of earshot, Alaina elbowed Logan hard in the ribs. "Logan Foster, what is your deal?"

"I should be asking you that," Logan snapped, thoroughly displeased. "I refuse to believe the world is this small. 'Coincidence,' my foot."

He crossed his arms and sulked.

Alaina froze, burying her face in her milk tea cup and taking vigorous sips as her eyes darted around guiltily.

She had absolutely set up this coincidental encounter with Jasper on purpose.
