The CEO’s Regret My Ex-Wife is a Tech Goddess novel Chapter 86

Staring at the ceiling, she couldn't help but remember that day filled with cherry blossoms...

She had just attended the awards ceremony in the auditorium and was practically skipping back to her dorm, clutching her trophy.

Walking along the cherry blossom avenue, she saw the street carpeted in pale pink petals.

A gust of wind blew, sending the blossoms dancing through the air to land on her shoulders and hair—it was incredibly dreamy and soft.

Taking advantage of the fact that few students were around at that hour, she strolled slowly, her eyes drawn to the blooming branches above.

Suddenly, she spotted a tall man standing under a cherry tree not far away, his profile looking quite young. As Alaina walked past him, she noticed him holding a phone with a navigation app open, his gaze darting between the screen and the street signs.

She approached him on her own initiative, figuring calling him an upperclassman was a safe bet.

"Are you lost?"

Hearing her, Silas turned his head and looked at her.

Meeting those deep, dark eyes, Alaina, who usually struggled with faces, simply thought this guy was stunningly handsome. Her heart even skipped a beat.

He was dressed in a simple, casual windbreaker with the sleeves casually rolled up to his forearms, revealing clean wrists and a sports watch. His dark hair was slightly tousled by the wind.

After a few seconds of silence, Silas finally spoke, his voice deep and melodic. "Apex Microelectronics' university research lab."

"I'm a student at that lab," she said, adjusting her thick-rimmed glasses, her eyes curving into crescents. "If you walk all the way down this cherry blossom avenue, take a left at the end, and go about six hundred feet, you'll see a sign for a parking garage entrance. Next to the garage, there's a very inconspicuous blue door. That's the entrance. It's super easy to find."

"Thank you," Silas replied softly.

Then he noticed the trophy in her arms. "What year are you?"

"Freshman," she replied with a smile.

Just then, a few senior students caught up to them. "Congratulations, Alaina!"
