“Where’s Grace and her sister? Have them accompany me.”

She stood up and went upstairs to change clothes.

“Ma’am, where are we headed? Should the driver take us, or should Anthony drive again?”

Autumn waved her hand: “Whatever, you guys arrange it. Just get us there quickly.”

“Alright.”

Grace’s sister decided to call Anthony.

Though he was annoying, he was from a professional security company with top–notch driving skills.

So, whenever they went out on missions, Anthony drove.

Anthony was chatting with a girl he recently charmed when he heard Autumn needed a driver. He couldn’t help but complain: “What is this? I’m a professional bodyguard, not just a chauffeur!”

“If you annoy them enough, they might just get rid of you.”

Anthony felt a flash of panic but quickly suppressed it.

“That’s impossible.”

He confidently smirked: “I’m the best driver among us.”

“If she wanted to replace me, she wouldn’t keep asking me to drive.”

“Then why aren’t you heading out? Why are you bragging here?”

The others urged him out.

Anthony couldn’t tell if they were sincere or sarcastic, chuckled, and said, “Alright, I’m going.”

“At least I have a job.”

After Anthony left angrily, everyone exchanged looks and chuckled in ridicule.

“Same old Anthony.”

“He thinks he’s amazing and the world should cater to him, but we’re just bodyguards, hired as expendable

shields.”

“I don’t get his arrogance. Am I wrong? This job is simple, where else can he find easy work that pays well? Don’t be too greedy, I say.”

The more they talked, the angrier they got.
