With the help of Solaris’s power, all of them returned to the mortal world. They appeared straight at one of the mountains in Agartha, from where the entire kingdom could be seen.
"What kind of energy is this?" Seren mumbled the moment they touched the ground. "So ominous."
Others felt it as well. Draven, who was now back to his usual form as the King of Agartha rather than the God of War, his dark eyes gazed around and he said, "Zaria. She is here."
"It’s clearly the essence of Zaria’s dark powers," Evanthe commented.
"It’s the same energy that captured me back then," Seren said as she looked at Drayce. "It’s very powerful."
"Of course," Evanthe said. "She is using divine blood and the darkness from the Demon Realm." She looked at Oriana and was quiet for a moment. "It’s from the Demon Realm, isn’t it?"
Oriana nodded. She could feel that Zaria still had the way to use darkness from Hell even after Tharzimon—who had been contacting her to find the Princess of the Demon Realm—was dead. She must have held on to something from him even now.
Seeing Oriana quiet, Arlan held her hand and said, "I know you respect her as your master, but at this moment you have to accept that she is our enemy if she is harming our people."
Oriana nodded, her expression conflicted.
However evil Zaria was with others, she had taught Oriana everything she could and guided her when Oriana needed her—to deal with the black witch who was harming Arlan and his family. She was evil to others, but to her, she had always been a master who wished her student to excel and guided her on the right path.
Not even once had Zaria ever asked Oriana to be a part of her evil group. She just left her to be on her own.
"We have to be careful with her," Drayce said. "Last time, I saw how her powers had hurt Aureus. She has definitely returned with something she could trust in, something more powerful than before."
"Aureus is still there," Morpheus said. "If that witch has hurt my nephew, I am not going to show any mercy to her." Morpheus had opened his wings, ready to fly already. "And I am going to get my sister."
"Be patient," Draven told him. "In haste you will only put them in danger. Anger won’t help here."
"Draven is right," Evanthe said. "Aureus, Yorian, Cornelia, and many other elders are there. If she has still managed to defeat them, or has some leverage against them to quiet them down, she can use that same leverage against us."
Draven hummed. "The only way for now is to talk with her and make sure our people are safe. The rest, we will decide later."
"Draven, she hates you and wants to take your place as the ruler of this kingdom. Stay away from her, or I am afraid she has already created some divine weapon for you. She is shrewd."
"I will burn her alive if she even tries to," Ember’s angry voice came through. "I won’t care who she is holding as leverage."
Evanthe sighed. "Especially keep our angry phoenix away," she told Draven and Morpheus. "With her powers regained, she is still volatile and might end up burning this entire kingdom."
"Drayce, you have to stay here and look after others. There’s no need for all of us to go to her," Draven said. "I and Evanthe will go...."
"I am coming as well," Oriana said.
"You won’t be able to stand against her," Evanthe said. "Don’t put yourself in an unnecessary dilemma. Her enmity is with us."
Evanthe shut her mouth and said to Seren, "You have to look after Ember. Only you can keep her calm."
