THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 1034

The private room was utterly silent, save for the sound of Gordon's singing.

No one had expected him to suddenly burst into song.

And he was only getting more and more into it.

"The long winter's nap is over, I'm still a little dazed, the birds overhead are waking up the forest..."

Listening to him, Celeste couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha!"

It was just too funny.

Who would have thought that Gordon, who seemed as cold as an iceberg on the surface, would sing children's songs when drunk? And a whole medley of them, at that.

The contrast was simply too great.

Even Norris couldn't help but crack a smile.

He had intended to test Gordon's character through drinking.

He hadn't expected to uncover the man's alter ego instead.

An interesting one, at that.

Caitlin looked up at Gordon and tugged on his sleeve, whispering, "Okay, okay, that's enough singing."

"But I want to sing~"

"Harry Potter, come quick, help me get rid of Voldemort~~"

Gordon's singing only grew more enthusiastic.

What could Caitlin do?

She could only take out her phone and quietly record the moment.

Caitlin was already looking forward to seeing Gordon's face when he watched this video sober.

As he sang, Gordon suddenly turned to Caitlin. "Boss, am I a good singer?"

"No, that's okay," Caitlin said. "Brother Norris, you've had a lot to drink tonight too. You and Celeste should head back."

Although Norris didn't look drunk, his steps were a bit unsteady. He had, after all, drunk quite a bit.

Celeste smiled. "Freya's right. You should worry about yourself first!"

"Are you sure you can handle him alone?" Norris asked, glancing at Gordon, who was fast asleep on the table.

Caitlin smiled. "It should be fine. His assistant is waiting outside. I'll have him drive, and I'll keep an eye on Gordon in the back."

"Alright then." Norris nodded slightly and picked up Celeste's bag. "Freya, we'll head out. Text me when you get there safely."

"Okay, Brother Norris."

Celeste waved to Caitlin. "Bye-bye, Freya~"

"Bye, be safe on the way."

In a flash, only Caitlin and Gordon were left in the room. Instead of leaving immediately, Caitlin had the restaurant's kitchen prepare a bowl of sobering-up tea.
