Vicki walked over. "Mr. Cartwright, Mrs. Cartwright, my son has a high fever and is in the hospital. There's not much left to clean, and my colleague is handling it. Would it be alright if I took leave to go see my son?"
Louie usually left these matters to Gertrude.
Gertrude looked up. "Of course, you should go."
