THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 961

That was Caitlin he was talking about: calm, composed, and completely commanding.

Skyler narrowed his eyes. "Have you been seeing someone else? Are you cheating on my boss, Caitlin? Uncle, just so we're clear, I'm on Team Caitlin!"

Gordon glanced at Skyler, his eyes filled with pity. "You know, I actually feel for you. Your girlfriend probably doesn't love you nearly as much as my girlfriend loves me. What can I say? Catie loves me so much!"

With that, Gordon strode downstairs.

Skyler was dumbfounded. Was this really his uncle?

He now had a reasonable suspicion that Gordon had deliberately let him see that selfie!

Unwilling to accept defeat, Skyler hurried to catch up with him, lowering his voice. "I have a special mark of my girlfriend's love."

Gordon said nothing, simply reaching up to adjust his collar.

And then Skyler saw it—a bright red lipstick print on Gordon's white shirt.

Skyler blinked. What was going on? Gordon had the exact same lipstick mark!

He'd lost again!

How infuriating!

Skyler's eyes narrowed. "Uncle, didn't you say this kind of thing was childish? You even called me a love-struck fool! If I'm a love-struck fool, what does that make you?"

The hypocrisy hit him like a tornado.

If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, who would believe this was the same Gordon from three days ago?

"My wife insisted on leaving her mark. What was I supposed to do?" Gordon met Skyler's gaze, his expression perfectly composed as he said, word for word, "It's called keeping my wife happy."

Keeping his wife happy?

Skyler was speechless.

He wanted to cry. He was so frustrated!

He couldn't win the comparison, and he couldn't win the argument. This was just tragic.

Caitlin nodded slightly. "As long as you're sure, Keeley."

Ultimately, it wasn't her money. The decision was Keeley's to make. All she could do was offer advice; whether he took it or not was out of her hands.

At 3 PM, the plane landed on time in Keeley's city. His four nephews were all there to meet him.

Seeing them after so long, Keeley waved excitedly. "Trevor, Millard, Sloan, Finn! Why did you all come?"

Trevor Prescott and his three brothers rushed forward. "Uncle Keeley!"

Finn Prescott quickly took Keeley's suitcase. "Uncle Keeley, you've been gone for so long, we all missed you! Besides, we couldn't let you travel back from here all by yourself."

His words warmed Keeley's heart. He knew it. His nephews were the most devoted children a man could ask for. He had no reason to be wary of them.

Sloan Prescott exchanged a look with Millard, then spoke up. "Uncle Keeley, since we're all in the city today, why don't we just head to the bank and get the transfer sorted out? It'll save you a trip back and forth later. What do you think?"

The other three quickly agreed. "Yes, exactly! Uncle Keeley, at your age, it's not good to be traveling back and forth so much. It's too hard on your body. Let's just get it done today while we're here. It's on the way."
