Claire demanded that the organizers set up a standalone glass display case for Celestial Dog Food right at the heart of the competition venue.

She wanted Summer Group’s Celestial Dog Food to be displayed like fine jewelry, with a prominent sign declaring it “The Luxury Brand of Dog Food.”

And with the display as the center, no other dog food brands could set up booths or display any promotional materials within a 60-foot radius.

They didn’t want other companies piggybacking off Celestial Dog Food’s buzz.

Finally, Claire insisted that Celestial Dog Food be the competition’s one and only official dog food, and no other brands could even use the phrase “recommended product” anywhere.

Thanks to those rules, Nina’s KrillJoy and all the other rival brands were all shoved off to some out-of-the-way corner of the venue where hardly anyone ever walked by.

The other sponsors could only gather in the shadows, grumbling in hushed voices, but in the end, they just had to suck it up and go along with whatever the organizers decided.

“She really thinks she’s the queen bee,” one of them scoffed.

“What can you do? Her product is the rare item everyone’s chasing right now,” another sighed.

“I wish some product would step up and knock her off her high horse, really put her in her place!”

“Forget it. I heard even the owners of show dogs have to pull strings just to get her food.”

After a few more complaints, they all begrudgingly shuffled back to their own lonely booths, stuck out in the far corners of the venue.

Nina glanced over at the Celestial Dog Food booth, set up right in the center of the venue like an exclusive luxury showcase. With an indifferent expression, she simply turned her gaze away.

After checking out KrillJoy’s out-of-the-way booth, Nina went to the van to get Shadow.

As soon as the door opened, a sleek, smoky-gray figure bounded out with effortless grace.

Shadow landed and immediately scanned the area. Its amber wolf eyes were sharp and alert in the dimly lit

corner.

He had just gotten a thorough bath yesterday, and now his thick coat shimmered with a silver-gray sheen. Its ears stood tall and forward, tail hanging naturally, giving it an air of wild, untamed beauty that commanded respect without even trying.

A few knowledgeable spectators in the distance whispered in awe, “That’s a Czech Wolfdog! Looks purebred!”

Another murmured, “At first glance, I thought it was a wolf king!”

Someone else added, “Why does it look so familiar?”

But the moment Shadow saw Nina, all that cool, aloof vibe disappeared. He instantly turned into a ball of excitement.

Shadow cocked his big, handsome head, looking puzzled. “Nina, why are we stuck way out here in this lonely corner?”

He gave his fluffy, brush-like tail a good wag, brimming with energy. “Let me go drumming up some business for you! I swear I’ll bring the crowd over!”

Nina couldn’t help but laugh at how fast Shadow flipped from a cold, regal wolf king to a cheerful, eager shop assistant.

Nina gave his thick, warm neck fur a gentle rub and smiled. “Don’t worry, Shadow. Quality always gets noticed, even if we’re stuck in the back corner.”

Meanwhile, at the competition, Claire’s booth totally owned the spotlight, sitting right at center stage under a flood of dazzling lights, with crowds packed in like it was a celebrity meet-and-greet.

But Nina’s KrillJoy booth was shoved off into some forgotten corner, so empty that people could hear a pin drop.

Nina didn’t care one bit. She just squatted down and started goofing around with Shadow, totally chill.

Just then, the organizers flocked around Claire, escorting her like she was royalty as they toured the sponsor displays.

“Ms. Summer, everything’s set up just like you asked!” one of them said eagerly. “We made sure no other brands could leech off your buzz!”

“Good, very good,” Claire replied, pausing for a moment. Her eyes swept over Nina’s lonely booth in the corner, and a smirk of pure disdain curled on her lips.

Just 65 feet apart, a single red line drew a divide between two completely different worlds.

On one side, the center stage was lit up and packed with people. On the other side, a shabby booth was tucked away in the corner, totally ignored.

The stark contrast made Claire’s vanity practically burst at the seams. She couldn’t even be bothered to toss Nina a single insult.

To Claire, Nina wasn’t even worth the effort of a word. Even a glance in her direction would be more than she deserved.

‘Where did Nina even dig up some back-alley factory to whip up that Krill Algae Plan?’ Claire thought, her lips curling in disdain. ‘No buzz online, no ads, nothing. She must be flat broke.’

Claire swept away, surrounded by her entourage, leaving behind a haughty silhouette that practically screamed superiority.

But Amelia hung back on purpose, tossing out a smug line. “Ms. Summer, seriously, you think you can take off with just a couple of formulas after ditching Summer Group?”

“Celestial Algae’s success? Your tweaks were just a little extra flair. The real backbone here is always Summer Group.”

Nina looked straight at her, her eyes clear and bright, a half-smile tugging at her lips that didn’t quite reach her eyes.

“Success?” she echoed, her voice dripping with irony. “Funny, because all I see is you guys throwing money away just to make some noise. What gives you the nerve to even call that success?”

Before Nina had even finished speaking, Shadow suddenly raised his head and let out a deep, threatening growl at Amelia, his fangs flashing in the dim light.

Amelia jumped at the sound, instinctively stepping back. Her face went from red to pale, and all her bravado vanished in a heartbeat.

She forced herself to stand tall, but her voice betrayed her nerves. “Y-you… quit spouting nonsense! I’m not wasting my time arguing with you. No way I’m letting you steal our thunder!”

With that, she hurried off, barely daring another glance at Shadow, practically tripping over herself to get

away.

Soon enough, the crowd at the Celestial Dog Food booth swelled even more. The winner of the Golden Paw Cup Scent Tracking Competition was out!
