Chapter 258
:
The Springer Spaniel was practically dancing around the open bag of Krilljoy dog food, whimpering with anticipation. The shiny bowl of Celestial Dog Food behind it was the last thing on its mind now.
It said, “Please! Just let me have a taste! Just one bite! I’ll even trade you my championship medal for it, deal?”
The whole place erupted in an uproar.
The dog owner burst out of the crowd, exclaiming in shock, his face full of confusion.
The live stream camera caught the dramatic turn instantly, jumping from the Celestial Dog Food booth straight to Nina in her quiet little corner.
The guests, never ones to miss the action, swarmed over, and in no time, the small booth was packed to the brim.
Everyone’s eyes were glued to Nina and her KrillJoy dog food.
“What kind of dog food smells this amazing? Even the champion pup can’t hold back.”
“Forget Celestial Dog Food, it just bolted straight for… KrillJoy? Never even heard of that brand.”
“Hey, I know her. She’s Ms. Summer. Isn’t she the one who can talk to animals? You don’t think this is some kind of put-on between her and the owner, do you?”
With all the skeptical chatter, a flood of curious, surprised, and suspicious eyes zeroed in on Nina.
When the Springer Spaniel’s owner heard someone accuse him of teaming up with Nina, his face fell, and he raised his voice. “Back up your words! Don’t make baseless claims!
“Lightning here is an officially certified champion dog. It is so picky. It’ll turn its nose up at premium steak if it’s not the perfect cut.”
He shot a sharp look at the person who’d just questioned him. “Besides, the results only came out ten minutes ago. Before that, nobody had a clue who’d win. What, you think she managed to set up every dog in the show?”
Before he could finish, the energy in the room exploded. A stampede of paws echoed through the hall as the dogs went into a frenzy.
It was like they’d all picked up on some secret signal only dogs could hear. Every pup in the place, from the elegant poodles to the goofy huskies, the stubby-legged corgis to the regal sheepdogs, started losing their minds.
The dogs barked in perfect harmony, dragging their humans in a full-on stampede toward the Krilljoy booth. The leashes stretched so tight that it looked like a tug-of-war championship.
The owners, dragged along against their will, looked totally baffled.

Chapter 258
“Seriously, what the heck is going on? I was just about to exchange WhatsApp with this cute guy, and my dog yanked me straight over here!”
“No idea! I just bought a coffee, and my little troublemaker did a full tail whip, and the coffee splashed it all over my new pants!”
“Are you kidding me? My dog usually can’t even be bothered to go downstairs for a walk, but today it is acting like it is on a caffeine high! What kind of dog food is this, anyway?”
“Just grab a bag and try it! Otherwise, my little diva is not leaving this spot.”
For a while, the hall was a wild mix of barking and shouting, chaos everywhere except in front of the KrillJoy booth, which was absolutely swarming with dogs.
Nina called out above the commotion, her voice light and cheerful. “You all saw it. No matter what, there’s no way I could get every dog in the place to do this at once, right?”
She kept the crowd in line while making sure business was booming. “No need to rush, folks! Please form a line! Today’s products are on special. Here to pay!”
She grinned as she happily collected payments.
And then, the most dramatic moment of all happened.
The champion Springer Spaniel actually came bounding back, carrying its prize in its mouth.
For this year’s Golden Paw Cup, the organizers had gone all out to show off the luxury of Celestial Dog Food, so they designed the medal as a fancy golden bowl.
The whole point was for the champion dog to use it to eat Celestial Dog Food.
But now, the spotlight-stealing Springer Spaniel didn’t even hesitate.
It just tipped the Celestial Dog Food right out of the golden bowl onto the floor and scampered back to Nina, gently placing the empty bowl at her feet, its puppy eyes practically begging for a taste.
“I’ll trade you my championship golden bowl! From now on, I only want your dog food in it!”
Nina smiled, poured a small handful of KrillJoy into her palm, and offered it to the Springer Spaniel. “No need to trade. Here, enjoy!”
Claire and her team were absolutely gobsmacked as they watched the champion dog just tip the Celestial Dog Food out of the golden bowl like it was nothing.
This was the awards ceremony, live on air! With countless pet lovers glued to their screens. The champion dog’s natural reaction was basically a public smackdown. Celestial Dog Food’s reputation got dragged through the mud for the whole nation to see.
Amelia, clearly panicked, pointed at Nina and yelled, “You must’ve put some kind of appetite stimulant in your dog food! How else could it make every dog here go crazy for it?”

Her accusation was like a splash of cold water, killing the vibe instantly. The customers in line all hesitated, doubt written all over their faces.
The live stream comments instantly took a turn.
[No joke, that smell is way over the top. Is this some kind of lab-made dog food or what?]
[What are the organizers thinking? How did they let some sketchy product with no background into the show?]
[It seemed cool at first, but now that I think about it, something’s definitely fishy. What kind of dog food smells THAT good?]
Shadow sat tall and imposing by Nina’s side, keeping the rowdy pack in check.
With just a lazy sweep of his amber wolf eyes, the once restless dogs went dead silent, only daring to exchange worshipful glances.
“He looks so scary. But damn, he’s insanely cool!”
“That’s the aura of a true powerhouse. I don’t even dare move.”
Nina chuckled, giving Shadow’s head a gentle pat as she addressed the crowd. “Appetite stimulant? Please, Shadow’s been eating KrillJoy all along.
“Why would I ever mess with my own product like that? I’m in this for the long haul. I want KrillJoy to be a brand people trust.”
All eyes were on Shadow now.
