The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call (Wynter Quinnell) novel Chapter 1951

Wynter's lips curled into a faint smile. "Go easy on them if they can't take a beating, but don't hold back if they can."

Suddenly, a blood-red barrier surged up around the entire sect grounds, casting everything in a crimson glow.

Callan laughed loudly. "Our head has arrived!"

He and Edgar quickly dropped to their knees in greeting.

Wynter remained unfazed, calmly biting into a slice of watermelon. "Does anyone want some? It's sweet."

Without waiting for an answer, she held the watermelon out casually.

"Who dares cause trouble in Mt. Darkwood? Are you prepared to leave your lives behind?" A voice echoed ominously around them, but its owner was nowhere to be seen.

Wynter spat out a seed. "Wolf, don't kill him. We still need to ask him questions."

Wolf nodded enthusiastically. "Got it, Boss! I'll be careful."

Wynter then took out a napkin and wiped Wolf's hands and mouth clean. Once done, he stood and stretched. "Come on out already! Let's fight!"

Just then, an elder with the energy of a seasoned cultivator appeared in front of Callan.

"Who are you, and why have you come to stir up trouble in my sect?" he asked as his gaze landed on Wynter.

Wynter stretched her arms lazily. "Why don't you ask your loyal disciples what kind of mess they've made?"

Hearing that, the elder turned to Callan. "What did you do?"

Callan immediately bowed his head in panic. "We didn't do anything! We were just carrying out your orders when we ran into them! They crippled our cultivation! Please seek justice for us!"

"Really? That's it? Can you try to be a little more useful? That barely tickled," he said with disappointment.

Brodie's brow furrowed deeply. "Impossible. That body of yours…"

He knew exactly how much force he had used. While some high-level cultivators could withstand it, no one could just stand there and take it without even blinking.

Wolf bounced on his feet, full of energy. "Quick, show me something stronger! I won't play with you anymore if I lose interest."

Just then, Callan called out to warn Brodie about Wolf, "This kid is strange. You have to be careful."

"I'm aware," Brodie muttered as he frowned. "How did you even get yourselves tangled with someone like this?"

Callan stammered guiltily, "W-We don't know! We just ran into him by accident. He's got a pair of mainland cultivation partners backing him, so you should try going for them! Maybe they're using some forbidden technique to raise him like a puppet. That's why he can't feel pain or die!"
