Chapter 443 The Sudden Commotion
“Hehe, look at you, all lovesick and dreamy. Seems like good news is coming.”
Patience couldn’t help teasing, but she was happy for her too.
Jeremy was way better than that mama’s boy Vincent.
“No, stop saying that,” Amelia quickly denied.
Fimshed
Patience said, “Hehe, Josie and I really think Jeremy is great. If you two ended up together, it’d be a perfect match-a real power couple.”
With genes like theirs, any baby would definitely be good-looking, smart, and charming.
She really wanted to see them together!
Amelia and Patience kept chatting while eating, thinking they could order more food when Jeremy arrived.
Patience added, “Hehe, I was planning to diet, but since Mr. Curran is coming, I might as well eat freely.”
With a big spender like him around, it was clear he’d be paying anyway.
Patience rubbed her hands together like she had a clever plan, making Amelia laugh instantly.
She said, “It’s just one meal. Even if you stuffed yourself, it won’t cost much.”
They laughed and joked, enjoying the warm, easy vibe.
But before Jeremy arrived, they heard a commotion outside.
It sounded like a lot of people rushing in and out, voices everywhere,
“What’s going on? Why is it so noisy outside? Could it be a fire?”
Patience put down her fork, feeling a little tense.
“Probably not. Let’s go check,” Amelia said, standing up.
The café was top-notch, with excellent safety systems and fire equipment,
If there really was a fire, it would have been much louder.
Amelia’s ears were sharp. She thought she heard someone mention “Mrs. Jordan” just now,
After thinking for a moment, she decided she really should go check.
The two of them stepped out of their private room and saw people going in and out of the next room, making quite a commotion.
That happened to be the Jordans’ private room.
The waiters were running around, looking panicked, and the guests were whispering to each other with

worried faces.
Amelia grabbed a passing waiter and asked, “Excuse me, what’s happening here?”
Finished
The waiter was out of breath, looking anxious. “Mrs. Jordan suddenly fainted while having tea here. Her face started twitching. We don’t know what’s wrong.”
The person speaking was a manager, and he looked really tense.
The accident happened here, and he was in charge. If anyone questioned it, he could be held responsible.
Even though they’d called 911, no ambulance could get there that fast.
Cora’s status and age made things even more worrying. At this point, nobody could predict what might happen.
“Okay, got it,” Amelia said.
She didn’t have time to guess what the manager was thinking.
After a quick nod, she walked straight toward the Jordans’ room.
When she entered, she hadn’t even seen Cora yet, but she could already hear Brielle crying and mumbling
nonstop.
“Waaah! What do we do? What’s wrong with Grandma? Is she going to be okay?
“I already called Dad! When will the ambulance get here? Why is it so slow?”
At that moment, Sabrina was holding Cora, trying to figure out what to do.
She didn’t pay attention to Brielle’s crying and yelling but focused on whether she could actually help.
Even though she studied medicine, she wasn’t a doctor.
She knew a little about first aid, but what if she made a mistake, or what if Cora didn’t make it?
If something bad happened, would the Jordans or others blame her, thinking she made it worse by trying to help?
Right now, she felt like a stranger seeing someone collapse on the street-wanting to help but scared to, worried about responsibility.
But if she did nothing, everyone would probably blame her later for standing by while Cora got hurt.
After all, people knew she knew a little about first aid.
So Sabrina weighed the risks carefully.
In the end, she decided to lay Cora flat and said deliberately to everyone, “Don’t touch Grandma yet. We don’t want to make things worse.”
“Yeah, you shouldn’t mess with someone who suddenly faints. You could make it worse,” someone chimed

Comments
The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
New chapters please....
