Chapter 589 Bad Feelings
Gianna snatched Amelia’s clothes and bolted, tossing words over her shoulder. “Come on! Step outside and show everyone how hot your body is!
“Damn slut!”
Amelia’s face darkened. She wanted to chase her, but something told her it might be a trap. She forced herself to stay put.
She was completely naked, and running out blindly could mean even bigger trouble.
She locked herself in the bathroom and made sure the door was shut tight.
It was just in case that crazy girl showed up with backup or tried snapping photos.
Amelia thought about calling Josie, then remembered she didn’t have her phone.
She’d left it with Jeremy, planning to shower and change quickly.
“Ugh… Hope Josie finishes flirting with that guy and gets here soon,” she muttered.
Earlier, Amelia and Josie had shared this bathroom. Once Josie came back to shower and change, she’d definitely be here.
Then, Amelia would ask Josie to bring her a fresh outfit.
Meanwhile, Gianna was sneaking off with Amelia’s clothes, feeling a wicked thrill.
After being humiliated for so long, she finally got a chance to make that bitch squirm.
If she’d planned it better, she could’ve brought some guys and taken nude photos of Amelia.
She even thought about dragging Amelia out to film her naked
But Gianna had seen how Amelia took down Marcelo and Maxwell.
She knew she couldn’t win, so bringing more trouble wasn’t worth it.
Still, that was enough.
Amelia would be stuck naked in the bathroom, and no one would come by anytime soon.
With this weather, freezing her in there would be perfect.
“Heh. You shouldn’t have acted all high and mighty using a private bathroom. Let’s see who’s

saving you now.”
Gianna viciously tore Amelia’s clothes to pieces, then casually tossed them into a nearby trash
can.
Hmph. She’s wearing such nice brand of clothes. It’s even an AL exclusive.
Let’s see what you can wear now!
Outside, Jeremy had already changed and was sitting in the, gazebo near the hot spring.
He sipped his coffee while fiddling with Amelia’s phone.
After resting his eyes for a moment, he glanced at the phone again and frowned.
“Why hasn’t Amelia come out yet?”
Now that he was living with her, he knew her habits well.
She wasn’t the type to take forever in the shower.
He checked his watch again, unease creeping up.
Her phone was with him, so calling wasn’t an option.
Jeremy got up, deciding to go check.
Her bathroom wasn’t far. Less than two minutes later, he was at the door.
He knocked lightly. “Amelia, are you done?”
He then realized the door swung open easily.
The lock was broken, clearly tampered with.
A bad feeling hit him.
He rushed in and reached the bathroom, noticing no movement.
“Amelia?” he called, unsure.
Inside, Amelia had kept the hot water running, but it had suddenly stopped.
She was shivering violently from the cold.
Curled up in a corner, teeth chattering, she barely had the strength to call out. Hearing Jeremy’s voice, she clutched it like a lifeline and whispered faintly, “Je… Jeremy…”

Her voice was weak and shaky, almost a whisper-easy to miss if he wasn’t listening closely.
Jeremy’s chest tightened at the fragile, broken sound.
Ignoring everything else, he pushed the half-open bathroom door.
A blast of freezing air hit him, making him shiver.
What he saw made his eyes sting. Amelia was huddled on the cold tile, pale as paper, lips purple from the cold.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
