The thought alone made her want to kill her with her own hands!
Kill that ungrateful, heartless traitor!
With Amelia and Emery backing each other up, Gianna was shaking so hard with rage that her whole body trembled. Her fingers curled into tight fists, her nails digging so deeply that they almost pierced her skin.
She stared at Amelia's calm face, that faint edge of mockery in her eyes, then at Emery's undisguised hatred and killing intent. A chill shot up from the soles of her feet straight to the top of her head.
She knew she wasn't getting anything out of today. If anything, she'd only made herself look ridiculous, exposing all her humiliation and disgrace like a cheap clown.
If wasting her breath couldn't shake this thorn in her side even a little, then there was only one option left—remove her by force.
She wanted her gone from this world for good!
"Amelia, don't get too smug. Ever heard what goes up must come down?"
Gianna looked at her, those eyes warped by hatred and despair, casting a dark, sinister glare at Amelia.
The redness in her eyes and the venom in her voice made Amelia instantly sense danger.
In that moment, she felt it—Gianna was about to go all in, consequences be damned.
Instinct told her to step back, to get away before this lunatic did something extreme.
But she was a second too late.
Gianna suddenly shot out her hand and, in one swift motion, flung a handful of powder onto her.
"Ah!" Amelia raised her arm to block on instinct.
But the powder still drifted into her nose, and she caught a faint medicinal scent.
The next second, her body went limp, and she collapsed back into the chair, unable to control herself.
Then a sharp pain stabbed through her head, and her consciousness began to blur.
"Hahaha! Amelia, looks like you've finally fallen! If you won't leave me a way out, then don't blame me for killing you!"
Seeing Amelia finally fall into her trap, finally collapse at her feet, Gianna laughed like she'd lost her mind.
Amelia, in the end, you'll still die by my hand!
The result sent a rush of exhilaration and twisted relief through Gianna's chest.
Yes, killing someone meant paying with your life—but she didn't care anymore.
Her life was already ruined. There was no way back.
The Nygards didn't trust her anymore. The Jordans wouldn't take her in. Even her own mother could barely protect herself.
If she was destined to rot in the mud like trash, she might as well drag someone down with her!
"Amelia, go to hell!"
But seeing her daughter in danger, Emery immediately grabbed a nearby chair and hurled it straight at Gianna.
"Ahhh!" Caught completely off guard by the old woman's sudden ferocity, Gianna was smashed to the ground.
The knife flew from her hand and skidded away.
Without a second of hesitation, Emery lunged forward, snatched up the fallen knife, and stabbed it straight toward Gianna.
Gianna's eyes widened in sheer terror!
She had never imagined that Emery—who always seemed timid and fragile—could erupt with such terrifying strength and ruthlessness.
The chair slammed into her back with a violent rush of air, and pain exploded through her body. She cried out as the knife flew from her grasp.
That alone had left Gianna defenseless—but she never expected that Emery would actually stab her with the knife!
Before she could even scramble to her feet, Emery was already charging at her with red-rimmed eyes, grabbing the knife and plunging it down.
Gianna instinctively tried to dodge, but the earlier impact slowed her by half a beat, and the blade sank mercilessly into her abdomen.
"Ah!" A bloodcurdling scream tore from her throat as searing pain ripped through her, blood gushing out and soaking her clothes in red.
She stared at Emery's face—twisted with fury and fear for her daughter—her own eyes filled with disbelief and terror.
But Emery didn't stop, as if she were finally doing something she had long wanted to do.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
