The IVF Secret That Shook a Dynasty novel Chapter 110

"And now that my son wants to divorce her, she's demanding he leave with nothing! Today, she set him up, called the police, and got him arrested! He's going to be detained for fifteen days! Can you believe there's such a woman in this world?"

Vivica had just finished washing Chaim's hands and feet and was getting him ready for bed. Hearing the familiar voices—first her sister-in-law Loretta's accusations, then her father-in-law Dylan's pathetic whining—she knew there was no avoiding this battle. The bodyguards could stop them from entering the room, but they couldn't stop them from screaming in the hallway.

"Sweetie, you stay tucked in bed. Mommy's just going to step out for a minute," she said.

Chaim grabbed her hand. "Mommy, are Auntie and Grandpa going to hit you?"

Vivica gently stroked his cheek. "No, they won't. Uncle Joseph sent people to protect us. They wouldn't dare."

After soothing her son, Vivica took a deep breath and opened the door.

Down the corridor, near the elevators, Dylan and Loretta were indeed being blocked by two large bodyguards. One of them was on the phone, likely reporting the situation to Joseph.

As Vivica walked toward them, she saw family members of other patients peeking out of their rooms, whispering amongst themselves.

"That must be the Vivica woman. She looks like a real vixen. I heard she's been having an affair, and that sick little boy is the other man's son."

"I also heard that while she's still married, she's already openly parading around with her lover. They say the child is going to be officially claimed by his real father soon!"

Vivica stopped in her tracks as she passed them. "Are you talking about me?"

One of the middle-aged women rolled her eyes. "If the shoe fits, wear it."
