The Last True Female (Lexie) (by Sylvia Vance) novel Chapter 196

In their beast forms, they could run wild through the forests and grasslands, hunting and fighting, showing off the untamed spirit and pride unique to beastmen.

But for them, all this was just everyday life. What really threw him for a loop was that when Lexie saw Gary in his beast form, she actually paid attention to that body part. Seriously, why would she even look there?he thought, feeling a bit flustered.

Now, after Lexie laughed like that, which beastman would dare to show up in front of her in his beast form?

For them, standing in their beast forms in front of Lexie felt like being completely exposed, like they were stark naked.

Cristia looked at Lexie with a mix of helplessness and fondness in his eyes.

He gave her shoulder a gentle pat, telling her not to get too worked up. After helping her to her feet, he went on, Lex, Gary night be a showoff. But as a beastman from the NineTailed Fox Clan, his speed and agility are on a whole other level compared to the rest of us.

In his beast form, his tails are a symbol of his strength, so he’s obsessed with making sure they look flawless.

And honestly, in the entire NineTailed Fox Clan, Gary’s beast form is hands down the most stunning. That’s why he can’t help but flaunt it.

But what he really didn’t see coming was that you weren’t even interested in his beautiful tails, and you were checking out iswell, you know what I mean.

Cristia couldn’t help laughing too.

Seeing Cristia laugh just made Lexie lose it even more. She was laughing so hard, slapping her thighs and crying out, Oh ny god, my stomach hurts!

Once she finally stopped laughing, Lexie grinned and said, No, Cristia, honestly, when I see you guys in your beast forms, I

ever look at that part. It never even crosses my mind.”

But just now, Gary was showing off like crazy, his nine tails all puffed up, bragging about being the most gorgeous beastman n the NineTailed Fox Clan.

He was so over the top, and my eyes just went straight there before I could even stop myself.

Seriously, you have no idea what I just saw

Lexie couldn’t help but burst out laughing again.

After laughing so much, Lexie felt way better, and her spirits were totally lifted

Gary is such a goofball! He seriously cracks me up, Lexie thought.

When she finally calmed down, she sat down to eat with Cristia Lexie Goodwin

Cristian had brought out a ton of food, mostly meat Lexie ate until she was only half full and couldn’t help but sight booking

at the food left on the table.

Cristia, I really didn’t eat this much. Honestly, a table full of meat like this would’ve lasted me a whole month before

But now, even after eating all this, I’m still only half full. I’ve eaten so much, but my stomach will feels empty

W

I’m starting to wonder if something’s wrong with me. Otherwise, how could I be eating so much all of a sudden?

Hearing this, Cristia kept encouraging Lexie to eat more and said softly. Lex, as long as you’re healthy, eat as much as yo want. We’re loaded and powerful, and feeding you is the least of our worries.

It’s not about you guys supporting me, I just feel like I eat way too much these days,Lexie said.

Don’t worry about it, Lex. You still can’t outeat an Abyssal Beast!Cristia joked.

Abyssal Beast? What kind of beastman are they?Lexie asked.

They’re a type of beastman from the Aetherion Interstellar Zone who can eat like crazy. No matter how much they chow down, they can convert everything straight into energy for their bodies.

Abyssal Beasts are not as powerful as the Light Beasts, but across the Aetherion Interstellar Zone, they are pretty much intouchable for reclusive clans like ours.

That impressive, huh?Lexie said.

Lexie paused for a second at the mention of Abyssal Beasts, but then just went back to her meal in silence.

After dinner, as Lexie walked through the garden with Cristia, she spotted the NineTailed Fox Clan beastmen, who’d been

trutting their stuff at her window earlier, now all suited up in tactical gear. Their faces were set in grim determination, eyes harp, as they assembled in formation and moved out with purpose.

Lexie shot Cristia a puzzled look.

Cristia, why are they all geared up? Where are they headed?Lexie asked.

They’re heading out for a mission,” Cristia replied.

A mission? Wait, you guys in the NineTailed Fox Clan actually have to go out and work?Lexie asked, surprised.

Of course. Lex, our clan’s huge, and we need cash to keep everything going,Cristia replied.

So sometimes, our beastmen have to head out and earn a living. If we just sat around here all day, what would we eat or drink?he explained.

Yeah, makes sense, Lexie nodded.

Lexie was saying all the right things. But when she spotted Gary, no longer his usual laidback self, now all suited up and deadly serious, marching his squad forward, she just couldn’t help herself and called out to him.

Hey Gary, where are you headed?Lexie asked.

Gary had been busy briefing his crew. But the second he heard Lexie’s voice, his face broke into a sunny grin. He swaggered over, hips swaying with every exaggerated step.

Lex, it’s only been a little while and you already miss me?he teased.

When Gary reached Lexie, he squeezed right past Cristia and flopped against her, acting all weak and needy, totally milking the helpless act.
