Lexie watched Keon’s reaction and couldn’t help but laugh inwally, ‘Can’t believe beastmen are so easy to please!
She kept stroking Keon’s big ears while adjusting the recording ob to make sure she captured this rare moment.
After all, she was counting on this to gain fans and make big bucks.
After about half an hour, Keon’s leopard head gradually shifted to a strikingly handsome face, with sharp features and a cool vibe. Lexie finally let go, though she was clearly reluctant to stop.
“Keon, how are you feeling now? Feeling better now that your head’s back to normal?” she asked.
As his mind grew clearer than ever, Keon finally spoke up, “Yeah it feels a lot better now. Thanks, Lex.”
His voice carried a hint of reluctance and a shy undertone.
Lexie was totally oblivious to Keon’s shyness. She was way too focused on the video she’d just shot, already planning how she’d edit and post it online.
While Lexie was busy with her video, Keon got up, ran his fingers over his normal head, and walked quickly over to the mirror.
Standing in front of the mirror, Keon saw his restored features. He couldn’t hide his excitement.
‘My head’s really back to normal. I look human again,‘ Keon thought.
Keon’s genetic disorder was nothing like what other beastmen went through. For most beastmen, when a genetic disease stroke, it usually started in a single body part.
If the problem was limited to one area, there was still hope for a cure.
But Keon’s situation was a whole different story.
When his genetic disorder first flared up, it hit his head right from the start.
That made his condition way tougher to cure than any other beastman’s.
If his head ever got hit by a genetic mutation, those twisted genes could take over his mind and soul. He’d lose himself completely.
But luck was on his side today because he met Lexie.
Her amazing healing powers saved his life and gave him a shot at a whole new life.
Keon stood in front of the mirror for a long time, and once he was sure his head was really back to normal, he finally turned to look at Lexie.
He strode over and stopped right in front of her. Lexie looked at him, puzzled, as Keon suddenly dropped to one knee.
He said in a firm tone, ‘Lex, thank you for saving my life today. you ever need help, just say the word. Even if you ask me to risk my life, I’ll do it.”
Lexie replied, “Come on, get up. Keon, I’m just a regular female ot. Nothing dramatic will happen to me, and I’d never ask you to put your life on the line for me.
“Seriously, get up. You’re making me super embarrassed.”

As Lexie spoke, Keon glanced at her hands resting on his shoulds. Through her fair skin, he could make out the faint blue veins beneath the surface.
The subtle pulse of blood was so clear and real, and she sinelled o fresh and sweet too
Keon wondered, ‘Could someone so radiant really be a female bt? Is it possible she’s actually a real female?‘
After all, the Aetherion Interstellar Zone is massive. Maybe, somewhere out there in some hidden corner, there really are females who won’t be affected by the Clyssia Virus.
‘But Lexie never admitted to being a true female. Is she actually true female?‘
Keon’s piercing stare was so obvious that Lexie instinctively yanked her hands off his shoulders and stumbled back a few steps before she even realized what she was doing.
‘What’s with that dark look in his eyes? Is he about to go full beastman and bite me or something?‘ Lexie thought, a little freaked out.
Just as Lexie was still trying to figure out what was going on, Keo finally spoke up, “Lex, do you need a bodyguard?”
“A bodyguard? Me?” Lexie pointed to her own nose, looking confused.
“Yeah, do you need a bodyguard? What do you think of me as your bodyguard?” Keon asked.
She replied, “Man, I’m totally broke. Plus, I’m still Marshal Drakes female bot.
“Bots like me don’t even get rights, so I really don’t need a bodyguard.”
Hearing that, Keon forced a smile.
After a brief hesitation, he stood up, pulled a crystal card from his inventory, and handed it to Lexie.
He said, “This is my number. If you need anything, just hit me up.
“Lex, you saved my
life. I owe you for life. I promise I’ll make it up to you.”
“So… can I post the video I just shot to Interstellar Net?” Lexie asked.
“Why do you want to upload that video to Interstellar Net?” Keon asked.
“To get more followers and make some money,” Lexie replied, straightforward and a little hopeful.
Keon couldn’t help but twitch his lips, half amused, half exasperated at her answer. “Lex, I’m loaded. If you need money, just say the word.”
“I’d rather earn money on my own. It just feels way better spending money I made myself,” Lexie shot back.
Keon let out a helpless sigh. He knew there was no changing her mind.
“Alright, you can post the video on Interstellar Net. But like I said make sure to blur my face. Can’t let anyone recognize me.”
he said.
“Deal. Thanks, Keon,” Lexie said.
Keon suggested, “Lex, you’re the one who saved me. I should be hanking you. Anyway, now that I’m all better, how about I treat you to a good meal? I know high–level female bots like you an actually enjoy food. What do you say?”
Hearing that, Lexie instinctively glanced over at Ryker.

After all, Ryker was the one who brought her out, so she had toe what he thought before making any plans to go back
“Sure, we’ve got time. Let’s eat first. Keon is loaded anyway. Let’s make him treat us to something fancy before we head back.” Ryker joked.
Seeing the look of confusion on Lexie’s face, Ryker couldn’t sayo.
Plus, Lexie barely knew anything about Dophi Planet, so this was the perfect chance for Ryker to take her out and let her see what Dophi Planet was really like.
And he wanted Lexie to get a real taste of how shady people could be–one second they were friendly, the next they were
monsters.
He wanted Lexie to learn that no matter what kind of promises people made, she should never trust them too easily.
Just like Ryker said, Keon was loaded. When he left the rehab center, he didn’t have to lift a finger. Someone else took care of all the paperwork for him, making sure everything was handled moothly.
With his discharge notice in hand, Keon led Ryker and Lexie ou of the rehab center. As soon as they stepped outside, a seriously flashy aerial craft pulled up right in front of them.
Lexie couldn’t help but marvel at the crazy–looking, super flashy aerial craft parked in front of them.
She couldn’t even tell a fancy ride from a junker, let alone figure out anything about aerial crafts. As far as she was concerned, the weirder it looked, the pricier it probably was.
