“I live at the military base not far from here, so it’s easy for me to drop by. Oh, and when you want to eat, just go out and turn left. There’s a public cafeteria there.

“Since you’re Marshal Drake’s artificial female bot, you can eat there for free.

“And if you ever want to go out and have some fun, just let the guards know ahead of time. They’ll send someone to go with

you.

“You’re a high–tier bot, after all. If someone tries to target you, having some guards with you will make sure you’re safe.”

“Got it. I’ll do as you guys say,” Lexie replied.

After saying goodbye to Ryker, Lexie walked into her bedroom. She took a quick look around, and when she opened the closet, she realized it was actually a hidden walk–in wardrobe, one that was ridiculously luxurious.

Lexie stepped inside, staring at all the extravagant clothes and sparkling jewelry. She couldn’t help but think to herself, Wow, Marshal Drake is seriously generous with me.’

To them, she was just an artificial female bot, basically a lifeless thing.

But still, Austin treated her so kindly. Honestly, even though she hadn’t spent much time with him, Lexie felt a genuine sense of gratitude in her heart.

After closing the wardrobe door, Lexie opened the video she had shot when she helped Keon. She pixelated Keon’s face, then posted the video on her Interstellar Net account.

Her account was just registered, with zero followers. So after posting the video, Lexie didn’t bother with it anymore.

After all, nobody knew who she was, so chances were, nobody would even click on her video.

What Lexie never saw coming was that, just a few days after she posted the video on Interstellar Net, it totally blew up. The clip of her curing a beastman whose head was fully beastified just by a simple touch went viral all over the Interstellar Net.

She had no idea any of this was happening.

A few days later, right around lunchtime, while Lexie was grabbing a bite in the cafeteria, a guard called her over to Austin’s office.

As soon as Lexie stepped inside, she spotted a whole room full of soldiers in crisp uniforms.

All eyes instantly locked onto her the moment she walked in.

With so many people staring, Lexie felt her nerves start to tingle without even realizing it.

Why are they all staring at me? Did something happen?‘ Lexie ought, feeling uneasy.

While Lexie was still wondering what was going on, Austin projeted a video onto the screen behind him and asked seriously, “Lex, that’s you in the video, right?”

As soon as she heard Austin’s question, Lexie glanced up at the seen behind him.

In the video, Lexie was rubbing Keon’s leopard head with all her might. With every gentle stroke, Keon’s beastified features

Lexie blinked at the video, feeling confused. “Marshal Drake, whit’s going on?

“Is that you in the video, the one with the blurred face?” Austin asked.

“Yeah, that’s me. What’s up?” Lexie replied.

Seeing Lexie’s confusion, Austin frowned and asked, “Can you tell me why you posted that video on Interstellar Net?

“To get followers and make some money,” Lexie answered casually.

“That’s all? Seriously?” Austin looked genuinely surprised.

“Yep, that’s all,” Lexie replied with a shrug.

Seeing the shock on Austin’s face, Lexie gave a quick nod. She thought, ‘If I weren’t trying to get followers and make money, why would I post that video on Interstellar Net?‘

“Lex, are you short on money?” Austin asked.

“Honestly, I’m not sure if I need money or not. Ever since I came to Dophi Planet, you’ve taken care of everything for me.

“But I was thinking, what if one day, you decide you don’t want to be my master anymore? Then I’d be on my own.

“Just in case I end up with nowhere to go and nothing to eat, I figured I could post some videos on Interstellar Net and maybe make a little to get by.

“I don’t need a fortune, just enough to get by.”

Hearing Lexie’s explanation, Austin looked at her, let out a soft sigh, and said helplessly, “Lex, I admit that ever since I got back to Dophi Planet, I’ve been swamped with work, and I might have overlooked how you were feeling in some ways.

“But when it comes to your daily life, I’ve made sure you’re well aken care of. I’ve really tried to cover all the bases for you.

“After all I’ve done, how did you get the idea that I’d abandon you?”

“Um, I guess I’m just being a little paranoid. I just thought, you know, it wouldn’t hurt to stash away some extra cash, just in case,” Lexie mumbled.

Austin was left speechless by Lexie’s explanation. After a momen of hesitation, he looked at her and asked in a softer tone, “Lex, do you know that the video you posted has gone viral on Interstellar Net?”

“Viral?” Lexie blinked, feeling genuinely surprised.

Hearing that, Lexie quickly pulled up her Interstellar Net accou to check.

When she saw countless comments and likes, Lexie couldn’t hel grinning from ear to ear. She knew that on Interstellar Net, the more comments and likes her video got, the more money s’d make.

Seeing all those comments and likes, she couldn’t help but wonder how much cash she’d actually get from this.

Lexic was flipping through her Optic Brain, her eyes sparkling with excitement over the potential cash. Austin just felt a headache coming on while watching her get so worked up about money.

He’d never taken care of an artificial female bot before, so he honestly had no idea what looking after one actually involved.

At first, he’d only made sure Lexie had food, clothes, and a place to stay. But it never even crossed his mind to give her any spending money.

But after that wave of guilt, he knew he had to get back to the main issue.

“Since you’re under my protection, and your Optic Brain account is covered too, nobody can look you up or investigate you.

“Lex, if you keep showing off without any way to protect yoursel especially here on Dophi Planet, where things can get messy fast, you could be putting yourself at risk.

“So, here’s what I want to talk about. From now on, before you post any videos, you’ll need to run them by the military first.

“Once the military has added all the security layers to your video then you can post it.

“What do you think, Lex? Does that sound good to you?”

Lexie nodded, but couldn’t help voicing her concern. “Um, Marshal Drake, could posting videos actually put me at risk or cause me any harm?”

Seeing Lexie still confused, Austin could only sigh and start explaining patiently.
