Arthur nodded. Fine. I’ll agree. When your test results come out later, I definitely won’t tell anyone.

Now that Arthun finally agreed to her request, Lexie brightened stantly. Alright. Thank you, Dr. Cole

Watching Lexie so delighted made Arthur somehow find her even cuter. So, when Lexie thanked him, Arthur instinctively lifted his hand toward her hair, wanting to gently rub her soft stands.

But the moment Arthur’s hand touched Lexie’s hair, someone grabbed his wrist and stopped him. Feeling the sudden grip tighten, Arthur subconsciously looked up and saw Austin’s handlamped around his wrist.

Marshal Drake?Arthur uttered.

Austin questioned. Isn’t talking enough for you? Why do you have to get handsy?

Hearing that, Arthur awkwardly pulled his hand back and explained, Marshal Drake, I just thought Lex looked cute. I couldn’t help wanting to ruffle her hair. Please don’t misunderstand.”

Hearing that, Austin stared at Lexie’s face for a few seconds before he replied coolly, Lex is my female bot. I’m her maste If anyone’s going to touch her hair, it’s me.

So, keep your hands to yourself from now on. Don’t touch Lex’s hair whenever you feel like it. Even if she’s a robot, yo don’t get to take advantage of her. Understood?

Hearing that and seeing how domineering Austin was, Arthur opened his mouth nothing to refute.

Arthur thought, Marshal Drake’s right, so what could I even argue? By law, Lexie really is Marshal Drake’s female bot, not

mine.

So, if Marshal Drake doesn’t want me to pat Lexie’s head, what can I do? Still, maybe it’s just me, but why does it feel like Marshal Drake is practically drowning in jealousy?

Arthur could only turn his gaze to Lexie, hoping she would speak up for him.

However, Lexie seemed to have completely ignored Arthur’s silent plea. Her eyes were fixed straight on Austin, her expression completely like an excited little fangirl, paying no attention at all to the desperate look Arthur was giving her.

Seeing Lexie act like this, Arthur grumbled inwardly, Seriously, that’s not fair. I just agreed to help Lex keep a secret. Now I’m in trouble, and she’s pretending nothing’s happening!

Even though he thought that, Arthur didn’t dare show it. He could only force a smile and say to Austin, Marshal Drake, you’re right. I overstepped, and I’ll be more careful from now on Rest assured. I won’t touch Lex’s hair again.

But Marshal Drake, regarding this check

Austin interrupted, Check? Then do the check properly. Make sure Amya didn’t do anything shady to Lexie behind the

scenes.

Alright. I will.Arthur nodded.

After dealing with Austin, Arthur led Lexie toward the testing room. Austin had intended to follow, but as he reached the door, someone from inside slammed it shut.

Austin thought, Of course. Arthur’s getting revenge for the way treated him earlier.

Although Austin knew why it happened, he understood Arthur’s personality. Arthur didn’t like anyone hovering over him

choice but to step back and wait quietly by the door.

Inside the resting room, when the machine emitted a signal of a different wavelength, Arthur froze. He stared blankly at the Test results in front of him, his mind suddenly blank.

Arthur thought. What is this? To make sure he wasn’t seeing things, he enlarged the font and put on a special pair of glasses, leaning over to carefully read every single word.

Even after reading the results, Arthur still stared at Lexie lying in the testing pod, unable to believe what he was seeing. Arthur thought. No, this can’t be happening. It’s impossible.’

With that thought, Arthur performed an even more detailed examination of Lexic. When the new set of results appeared. Arthur couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

Arthur thought, Lex isn’t a female bot. She’s an actual female who is immune to the Clyssia Virus. She can live under the open sky and breathe fresh air freely. She’s a living female!

At that thought, Arthur’s calm slipped away, and excitement shook through him until his whole body trembled. But when he reached the final page of the report, Arthur’s brows furrowed again.

Arthur thought, Wait. What is this? Lex was sick before, and that caused her cell regeneration rate to be extremely slow. If this is the case, she won’t have a long lifespan.

In the Aetherion Interstellar Zone, beastmen lived long lives, some reaching tens of thousands of years, even longer.

But Lexie wouldn’t. Her cell activity was far too low, and with numbers like that, even living to a hundred would be considered lucky.

Arthur thought, No. Lex’s existence is too precious. How could let her live only a hundred years? A hundred years? Please. That would pass in the blink of an eye.

That won’t do. I have to let Lex live for tens of thousands or even longer.

Arthur couldn’t defeat the Clyssia Virus, but extending someone’s lifespan was a piece of cake for him.

There was another thing Arthur couldn’t figure out. He thought, Why is Lex so young, yet according to the examination, her body has already finished developing? That means Lex is already an adult.

An adult? This tiny, soft female is already an adult? Once a female becomes an adult, she’ll have to find a partner. But

Looking at Lexie lying quietly inside the treatment pod, Arthur gazed at her with the tenderness of a father looking at his daughter.

Arthur thought, No. Lex is still too young. I can’t let her find a partner too early. Even if she does, I need to get her body into perfect condition first before I let her look for one.

Not only that, I really have to keep these test results a secret!
