Ezra thought, Lexie barely spoke to me. She just gently strokedy tails, and it’s nothing even close to intimate. Yet somehow, I’m suddenly in control again, despite my body usually going haywire from the genetic disorder.

Beast God, this artificial female bot is totally out of my league.

He honestly couldn’t imagine which lab could have produced an artificial female bot like her.

Just a simple touch from her, and his outofcontrol tails and ears were instantly soothed.

His case was considered pretty bad, but Lexie could soothe his raging genes so easily.

Ezra couldn’t help but marvel to himself, If she can handle mes easily, then for beastmen with mild symptoms, could a simple talk with her instantly settle someone else’s gene disorde

Just as Ezra was giving Lexie a stunned look, Lexie caught on that something was up with him.

Ezra, where did those fluffy tails you always have behind you go Did they just vanish?Lexie asked, shooting a confused glance behind him.

I, uh, tucked them away,Ezra mumbled, his eyes fixed on Lexie’s face.

Ezra couldn’t shake the feeling that Lexie was nothing like the other artificial female bots he’d ever met.

Her scent was so comforting and pleasant. It made him want to get closer to her. He’d never felt this before.

way

What was even weirder was that, when he was with Lexie, he actually felt a strange urge to submit to her.

It was like if she gave an order, he’d do anything for her. Even if meant giving up his life, he’d do it without a second thought.

Ezra couldn’t help but wonder if there was something wrong with him. After all, he’d never felt anything like this around any other artificial female bot before.

But if he was okay, he couldn’t understand what this feeling was supposed to be.

Just as Ezra’s mind was spinning, Lexie’s voice snapped him back to reality. Ezra, your ears and tails look amazing.”

Really? You actually like my ears and tails, Lex?Ezra asked.

Absolutely! If I could, I’d love to have ears and tails just like yours. Those big, fluffy tails are seriously adorable,Lexie replied, clearly thrilled.

She sighed inwardly, Too bad those ears and tails are all highteh. Getting them to look that real must’ve cost a ton.

Someone like me, who could barely scrape together enough for meal, would be dumb to ask how much those fancy upgrades set him back!

Just as Lexie was lost in thought, Ezra suddenly dropped to onenee in front of her, his soulful eyes full of hope.

Lex, my squadmates have cars and tails too. If you’re not busy, would you mind petting theirs for a bit?Ezra asked.

Huh? Oh, sure, totally,” Lexie replied.

Meeting Ezra’s charming gaze, Lexie hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Getting to pet those beastmen’s ears and tails for free? Lexie was absolutely thrilled.

Seeing her nod, Ezra instinctively glanced over at Austin for approval. When Austin nodded, Ezra gently took Lexie’s hand and led her aside.

As Lexie’s delicate hand rested in Ezra’s palm, the smooth, slightly cool touch made his heart skip a beat.

Can an artificial female bot’s hand really be so soft?Ezra wondeed. He’d never felt anything like it before.

Feeling the silky smoothness of her hand, Ezra turned to look at Lexie’s face. Her skin was fair, and her features were almost ethereal.

Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and a hint of mischief. Just one lance at her, and he couldn’t help but feel the lively energy she brought into the room.

Looking at Lexie like this, feeling her infectious vitality, Ezra found himself smiling without even realizing it.

Lex is just too cute for words. If I had my way, I’d want to stick by her side every second of the day,Ezra thought.

But that was just his wishful thinking. Ezra knew Lexie belonged to Austin. The only reason he could bring her out was that Austin had sent him to see what she was really like.

For now, Ezra just had to play by Austin’s rules and check out Leie’s background and skills.

So, still kind of spaced out, Ezra led Lexie down to the very bottom of the battleship, the most heavily guarded area on board.

Guards were everywhere, stationed every few steps, making sure no one got in or out without permission.

As soon as Lexie saw the place and felt the heavy, suffocating atmosphere, her feet just wouldn’t move forward.

Ezra, what is this place?Lexie asked.

This is where my squadmates rest and recover,Ezra replied.

Recovery?Lexie repeated.

Feeling the heavy, stifling atmosphere, Lexie hesitated for a moment. Then she looked up at Ezra, giving him a cautious look.

Ezra, you’re not going to hurt me, are you?Lexie asked.

Come on, you’re Marshal Drake’s bot. Unless I have a death wis, I’d never dare to hurt you,Ezra replied.

RReally?Lexie stammered, still a little unsure.

She hesitated for a second, but with Ezra’s reassurance, she took deep breath and stepped inside after him.

The area was partitioned into individual rooms. Ezra pushed open a door at random, and Lexie’s eyes were instantly drawn to a young man huddled in the corner.

He had long, oceanblue hair and strikingly handsome features. His eyes were shut, his face ghostly pale, and he seemed to be lost in a deep sleep.

Lexie was stunned to see a pair of semitransparent wings sprong from his back, wrapped tightly around his body, shielding him from everything outside.

Staring at those beautiful wings, Lexie took a cautious step forward, guided by Ezra’s deliberate urging.

Lex, Hill’s a close friend of mine. Could you go over and give hi wings a gentle touch?Ezra asked, sounding hopeful.

Um, am I really allowed to touch his wings? Seems like he’s asleep. What if he gets upset?Lexie asked, uncertainty clear in her voice.

Lex, Hill’s totally cool with you touching his wings. Give it a try. He’ll be really happy about it.Ezra urged.

But as Ezra kept pushing her. Lexie couldn’t shake the feeling that something here was off.

Still, when Ezra nudged her right up to Hill, Lexie couldn’t resist those insanely real and transparent wings, so she reached out and placed her hand right on them.
