The Lies Behind Her Marriage novel Chapter 157

That Was Hot.

Serena was still damp from her second shower when she felt the weight of Nathaniel’s gaze. She looked up to find him leaning against the doorframe, watching her with a dark, raw need that made her skin prickle.

He wasn’t just looking; he was stalking his next meal.

“What?” Serena turned to him, asking.

Nathaniel stayed silent. He walked right into her space, his body looming over hers, his long, thick shaft already covered with protection.

Clearly, he was ready for round two.

He hadn’t touched her yet; he stood behind her, forcing her to find his eyes in the steamed-up mirror.

“Your waist is so small, like you never gave birth.” Nathaniel rested his hands on her waist. He leaned down to kiss her cheek, all the while his eyes stayed on the mirror.

“You make it so hard for me not to look at you.” He wrapped his arms around her. “I missed this. I missed us.”

Serena said nothing. She wasn’t ready to say the things he probably wanted to hear, but she felt his warmth and his deep desire to have her.

Nathaniel cupped her chin and guided it to his mouth.

They shared another kiss, from soft pecks to a sudden, needy one.

Then Nathaniel returned to watching their figures in the mirror. He cupped her breast, one that made her moan.

“Do you still love it when I touch you?” barely a whisper, he asked.

Serena turned to him and kissed his jaw. “I’m not complaining.”

He smirked. “I guess that means yes.”

Slowly, he sent kisses down her neck.

It tickled, but it also made the butterflies in her stomach run wild.

Soon, he left marks on Serena’s neck on purpose, his hand still carelessly kneading her bosom.

Serena didn’t know when or how it happened. One moment, she was lost in a kiss, and the next, Nathaniel was leaving kisses down her back and onto her bottom cheeks.

When Nathaniel gave her ass cheeks a quick spank, she gasped. Before she could react, he bit her gently there, but with intent.

“I fucking miss this too,” he said breathlessly.

It was embarrassing, but in the past, Nathaniel had always been like this. All Serena could say was, “Nathan, stop eating my ass.”

He let out a low growl as he straightened and leaned into her. “I could devour you whole and it still wouldn’t be enough.”

Nathaniel stayed behind her. He pressed her back against his chest, turned her head to kiss her, all while his hand began to fondle her clit.

“Mmmm.” Serena’s moan was lost in the depths of his kiss. He didn’t just press his lips to hers; he claimed them, his tongue deep, tasting her skin and swallowing her gasps.

Serena felt his muscles tighten, his hold on her firm.

Clearly, he had come, and in that same moment, she reached another peak.

They kissed for a while, chasing their breath.

Serena turned fully toward him, and in doing so, she felt his sex slide out of her.

She wrapped herself around him, and he did the same.

“That was hot,” he rasped.

Serena nodded. “It was… amazing.”

“You know what else is hotter?” he asked.

A chuckle escaped her lips. “What?”

He winked at her, looking unfairly handsome. “If we do it on the sofa next.”

“Is there room for rest, Mr. Thorne?” she asked, taking a breather.

“You can rest on top of me,” he said. “I’ll do all the work, love. Trust me.”

He sounded sincere, but the possessive way his fingers dug into her hip told a different story. Nathaniel Thorne was many things, but tonight, a man of his word wasn't one of them.
