He started the engine, but Dorian had already sped off with Leonie in tow.

Leonie asked, "What's so funny?"

Dorian replied, "I don't want to get pulled over by the cops. Sure, riding a bike makes it easier to pick up girls, but speeding is a death wish. I don't play like that."

That single sentence confirmed to Leonie that he definitely wasn't her type.

She couldn't stand playboys.

"So you just ride a motorcycle to pick up girls?"

Dorian said, "Of course not. No one actually says it out loud like that. But riding a bike looks cooler than a regular car, and don't girls love guys who look edgy? If I wasn't good-looking, would you have picked me?"

Leonie thought about it. "I'm not shallow, but I won't deny that most girls appreciate a handsome guy. Do you have a lot of girlfriends? Like, do a lot of girls throw themselves at you?"
