The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 1060

Callahan had always found Fitch's treatment of Tamara suspicious.

If Fitch's only goal was to swallow the Sloan Group, he should have kicked Tamara out the second her family went bankrupt and the Sherwood family absorbed their assets.

Instead, after the Sloans lost everything, Fitch didn't just let her stay—he pampered her. He even divorced Gloria just to keep Tamara in the house.

Callahan's instincts told him the masked man had to be connected to her somehow, and his digging had just paid off.

Leilani stared intently at the photograph, her finger tracing the blurry silhouette. Her brow furrowed.

"The way she's interacting with him... it's strange."

"She looks like she has no idea who he is."

But the man's build was a dead ringer for the shadowy figure they had briefly spotted on the rooftop that night.

Leilani leaned in closer to the screen.

"But he looks completely invested in her. If this is our guy, why would he care about Tamara?"

"What does she have that he wants so badly?"

She looked up at Callahan. "Did you run his face?"

Callahan nodded grimly. "I pulled hours of footage from every camera on that floor. He's a pro. He perfectly mapped out the blind spots and avoided every main camera. This shot is the only one we got, caught by a hidden lens near the fire exit. I ran his profile and jawline through the facial recognition software, and..."

He paused, setting his coffee mug down with a heavy thud.

"Zero hits."
