The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 1061

Callahan seemed to realize something. He turned around, his brows furrowed as he carefully studied the blurry silhouette on the security footage. He fell into a deep, brooding silence.

He muttered to himself, though it sounded like he was analyzing the situation for Leilani's benefit.

"It doesn't make sense... Something feels completely off. Why would this masked man use *this* specific face to get close to Tamara?"

Leilani's mind had been occupied with the same enigma. Hearing his words, she looked up, a trace of confusion in her eyes.

"Could we be looking at this all wrong?"

"The masked man has always operated out of Northern Myanor, and Tamara has barely been involved in the Sherwood family's core affairs since she married Fitch. Why would he bypass Fitch entirely just to make contact with her?"

She paused, gathering her thoughts. "Besides, Callahan, based on the intel we have, there's no solid proof that the guy who approached Tamara in the hospital is the exact same masked man from Northern Myanor. What if we're dealing with two completely different factions?"

Mostly, Leilani just couldn't fathom why a pampered, delicate heiress like Tamara would be worth going through such extreme lengths to reach.

"No. It's him. I'm sure of it."

Callahan didn't have a shred of doubt. He turned his intense gaze to her.

"Leilani, do you remember?"

"When we were on the roof of that abandoned factory in Northern Myanor, and he escaped in the chopper... we didn't see his face, but I remember his build perfectly. I wouldn't forget it."

"The guy in the hospital and the one from the rooftop are the same man."

Even though physical builds could be similar, Callahan had noticed something distinct the moment he saw the masked man.
