Chapter 138 Hidden Camera Truths

The screen showed Jolie standing at the far end of the second-floor hallway, holding an antique vase with a faint smirk playing on her lips.
Moments later, Zora appeared in the frame. Everyone’s eyes locked on the display. Jolie’s smile widened visibly, and just seeing that expression sent an uneasy chill through every student in
Class 19.
“Zora…”
Her voice came through in broken, static-like repetition.
The mechanical, distorted tone felt eerie to the whole class.
“Is there something you need?” Zora asked quietly. Her voice sounded soft and gentle, still untouched by all the trouble that would follow.
“Zora, this is Dad’s favorite vase. I doubt you’ve ever seen one like it before. Wanna take a closer look?” Jolie smiled and held the vase out toward her.
Watching the footage, the class held their breath, already dreading that Jolie would drop the vase and frame Zora.
Zora’s gaze fixed on the vase. Jolie was already loosening her grip. Afraid it would shatter on the floor, Zora instinctively reached out to catch it.
Before her hand could get anywhere close-still half an arm’s length away-the vase slipped from Jolie’s fingers and crashed to the ground with a sharp, clear crack.
The whole class jolted at the sound.
“Zora! How could you break Dad’s favorite vase?” Jolie cried out in feigned panic.
Her shrill, fake tone filled everyone with irritation.
Her shouts drew Wayne and Wendy over at once.
It was the first time Zora had faced such a setup, and she froze, caught off guard.
“I didn’t do this. You dropped it yourself. You let go before I could even reach it.”
“I only wanted to let you admire Dad’s vase,” Jolie said softly and innocently. “How could you go and break it?”
Wayne stared at Zora with obvious anger.
“It wasn’t me. She’s lying. She offered to let me look at it, then dropped it before I even touched

Zora would never admit to something she hadn’t done. She frowned, speaking earnestly to Wayne and Wendy, unable to understand why Jolie would frame her like this.
But neither of them believed a word she said. Wendy shot her a disappointed glance before turning to comfort Wayne instead.
They were quick to dismiss her explanation, entirely convinced Jolie could never do something so deceitful.
Soon after, Wendy and Jolie led Wayne away, leaving Zora standing alone in the hallway.
She looked lost and lonely, with no one willing to stand up for her.
Without giving her a chance to explain, they’d already pinned the blame entirely on her.
“Screw this! How shameless can Jolie be?”
Rage rippled through every student in Class 19.
The footage was stitched together from multiple surveillance angles, a little blurry, yet clear enough to make everyone furious.
Maya said nothing. She simply saved the video, closed the playback page, and kept searching for more clips.
Thanks to the exact times Zora had given her, tracking down the footage was effortless.
Just as Zora had guessed, Jolie had never taken her seriously enough to cover her tracks fully after deleting the main camera feeds.
Confident Zora could never clear her name and certain the Knox family would never side with her, Jolie had grown far less careful with her later schemes.
The next clip showed Jolie sneaking upstairs and using a small blade to damage Wendy’s necklace.
Another recording captured Jolie slipping powder into Anton’s calming herbal tonic. She’d stepped in while the household maid was on her way to deliver the tonic, took it from her hands, sent the maid away, then turned aside to secretly spike it.
Though she tried to hide her movements, Maya zoomed in frame by frame, with dozens of pairs of eyes watching closely.
Seeing how curious everyone was, Maya sent the footage straight to all their phones so they wouldn’t have to crowd around a single screen.

“Maya, zoom in here!” Hallie pointed at her screen. “I swear I see a white paper packet in her hand. Pause it!”

Maya did as she asked, enlarging the laptop view, which synced instantly to everyone’s devices.
They all clearly saw the white folded packet clutched in Jolie’s hand. Her fingers trembled with nervousness, spilling fine powder onto the floor. She glanced left and right nervously, checking if anyone had seen her.
There was no longer any doubt-Jolie was the one who’d drugged Anton.
Later footage showed her sneaking over to Zora’s doorway while she was out, scattering the same white powder to plant false evidence against her.
Maya’s expression turned colder with every clip she uncovered.
The next video showed Yale’s torn bidding documents.
Right after Zora took out her trash and walked away, Jolie approached the bin with a look of disgust. She pulled out Zora’s garbage bag, tore the stolen bidding documents into tiny pieces one by one, and stuffed the shreds back inside Zora’s bag.
