Chapter 32 I Trust You Completely
She carried the ceramic jar downstairs.
Opal had not gone out to meet her friends that day.
“Grandma.”
“There you are, Zora. Come sit right here with me.”
Finished
Opal was seated in the living room watching opera, dressed in a brown dress with a thin shawl draped over her shoulders and a small folding fan held in her hand.
“Mm.” Zora walked over and sat down beside her grandmother.
“What do you need, honey?” Opal asked with a warm smile.
After everything that had happened with the Knox family lately, the bond between Opal and Zora had grown much closer. Around her grandmother, Zora’s reserved temperament softened noticeably.
“I made some vitality pills for you.”
Zora pulled out the small porcelain bottle and handed it to Opal.
“You made something just for me?”
Opal’s voice was filled with delight. She took the plain, unadorned little bottle without the slightest trace of disdain.
She’d already heard Jensen bragging that Zora had made him a herbal sachet for sleepless nights.
A little envious, Opal had casually mentioned to Zora that her own sleep had grown restless, hinting she might need a sachet too.
The very next day, Zora had prepared one for her and another for Floyd.
It had made both of them overjoyed.
They kept the sachets tucked under their pillows, and their sleep had grown far more restful-better than any store-bought medicine.
“You can have a doctor check them before you take them,” Zora suggested softly.
“No need at all. I trust you completely. How many times a day should I take these? Before or after meal?”
Opal held the porcelain bottle carefully in her arms like a precious treasure.
Zora’s medical skills had been personally verified by Chet, so there would be no issues.
Even now, Chet would often lament to them about how unfortunate it was that he couldn’t take Zora as his apprentice.

Chapter 324 Trust You Completely
Opal trusted her granddaughter wholeheartedly.
She’d always known Zors was the sweetest child.
Treat her with one ounce of kindness, and she would return tenfold.
Finished
“Just one dose a week. It works either before or after meals. You’re in great health right now, so you don’t need to take it every day.”
A soft smile spread across Zora’s delicate cheeks, warmed by the trust placed in her.
Being trusted by others was a quiet, precious joy.
‘Zora, school starts back tomorrow. Jensen had a meeting at noon, and once he’s done, he’ll take you to the mall this afternoon to pick up daily necessities.”
Opal carefully set the bottle aside and passed along the message Jensen had left that morning.
It was almost time for the new semester to begin. Aside from one brief visit a couple of days prior, no one from the Knox family had shown their faces since then.
Opal had waited for them to come to their senses, but they never had. She’d grown thoroughly disappointed with the Knoxes.
If the Knox family failed to cherish Zora, the Marlows would embrace her wholeheartedly.
Zora belonged with them-she was family, through and through.
Okay.”
At the thought of Jensen, and the little teddy bear and pig plushies he’d brought her each day these past wo days, a faint smile tugged at Zora’s lips as she nodded.
Grandma, where’s Zora?”
That afternoon, Jensen wrapped up his meeting, cleared his remaining schedule, and headed straight back o the Marlow Manor to pick Zora up.
She’s upstairs.” Opal called toward the upper floor, “Zora, Jensen’s home!”
Г
A quiet “I’m coming” drifted down from the third floor. Moments later, Zora appeared at the staircase.
She’d gone back to change into a dress, fidgeting nervously with the hem of her skirt as she walked down to stand before Jensen and Opal.
‘My, look how lovely you are. You take after me perfectly-such natural beauty.”
Opal beamed with warm praise as she looked at Zora in her nice dress, her kind eyes crinkling into happy slits.
Zora’s long hair was tied into a loose bun. Her features were delicate, her doe eyes clear and bright, her flawless skin untouched by makeup-carrying the pure, fresh charm only a young girl could have.

She wore a white lace-trimmed blouse paired with a fitted black waist skirt, her legs pale and slender.
She looked stunning.
Zora usually dressed casually at home and rarely wore dresses. The change was instantly eye-catching.
With the compliment easing her nervousness a little, Zora lifted her gaze and glanced shyly at Jensen.
‘You look absolutely beautiful. You should wear dresses more often. When these ones run out, I’ll buy you
new ones.”
Jensen’s smile never faded. He brushed a hand gently over the top of her head, echoing Opal’s warm praise.
Relief washed fully over Zora at his kind words.
She’d been afraid she’d embarrass him.
When she’d first arrived at the Knox Villa, the Knox family had looked down on her-mocking her simple countryside style, saying she made the Knoxes the talk of town with her plain looks.
So the moment Jensen said he would take her out, Zora had hurried back to her room after lunch to look up outfit ideas on her phone.
She didn’t mind looking plain for herself, but she could never bear to let Jensen be judged because of her.
‘Alright.” Zora nodded softly.

Chapter 83 A Shopping Spree
“Zora, buy whatever catches your eye today-I’ve got it all covered.
Finished
“Once we get tired from walking around, we’ll grab dinner somewhere nice. I already reserved a table.”
Jensen took Zora to the largest shopping mall in Seacrest, the same one where she’d bought herbal ingredients once before.
Last time, Zora had headed straight for the apothecary with a clear goal and hadn’t wandered around the mall at all.
“I don’t really need anything, Jensen.”
Zora had nothing she wanted to buy.
Besides, everything here was surely expensive.
She hated the thought of Jensen spending so much money on her.
“Get anything you like. If you can’t think of anything, we’ll start with clothing stores.
“Then we can check out handbags and jewelry shops.
“We’ll take home whatever you fall for.
“I never got to give you a proper welcome gift when you first came back to us, so today I’m making up for
it.”
Jensen led Zora toward the elevator, planning to start with clothes shopping.
Before coming, he’d asked his assistant what girls usually liked to shop for.
His assistant had told him girls mostly shopped for outfits, bags, shoes, and jewelry.
Not knowing exactly what Zora preferred, Jensen decided they’d browse everything and get whatever she liked.
“That’s enough, Jensen. We’ve bought way too much already.
“Let’s stop shopping now.”
୮
Zora followed Jensen through row after row of stores, finally seeing just how freely he spent money.
There were more than 20 shops on this floor alone, and Jensen walked through every single one. Anything Zora glanced at for even a second, he had the staff wrap up for her right away.
“It’s nowhere near enough. There’s a jewelry store just ahead-let’s go see if anything catches your eye.”
Jensen tugged Zora toward the jewelry shop.
She wore no accessories at all, nothing to adorn herself.
