Chapter 364 They Had Everything Planned

Everyone in class had been super jealous ever since they watched Zora perform last time.
“But we don’t have a harp here.”
It wasn’t a big deal, and Zora didn’t say no right away.
“We got that covered! I had my butler bring over my mom’s harp!”
The whole class lit up when they heard that. Lillie’s eyes sparkled. She pushed through the crowd and ran straight to Zora.
“Zora, is this harp okay for you?”
Lillie waved at a few guys standing outside the classroom door.
The boys got the hint and walked in, carrying a harp wrapped in a protective case.
They set it down gently on the empty spot they’d cleared out earlier.
Zora watched them and laughed, kind of speechless. “You guys totally planned this whole thing.”
Everything was already set up. They’d just been waiting for her to agree.
“We just wanna hear you play in person! We’re sick of Easton bragging about seeing your performance nonstop.”
Lillie grinned sweetly.
“So you’ll do it, right?” She hooked her arm through Zora’s, her voice soft and sweet.
“Do I even have a choice?” Zora chuckled.
“Nope! Please, Zora! We all wanna hear you play!”
Lillie had cute shoulder-length curls with a tiny Minnie Mouse clip in her hair. She nuzzled her head against Zora’s neck, begging her in the sweetest tone.
“Alright, I’ll play.”
Zora could never resist someone being this soft and clingy. Everyone always spoiled her, so when an adorable, well-behaved girl acted this cute around her, she couldn’t say no.
“You’re the best ever!” Lillie beamed happily.
“Zora, this is a different harp. Wanna tune it first before you play?” Maya stood nearby, watching

the two of them, and asked gently.
“Sure.” Zora agreed.
Seeing Zora get ready, Lillie stopped messing around.
She couldn’t explain it, but her back suddenly felt really cold.
Did someone turn the AC down too low?
“Stephen, turn the heat up. I’m freezing for no reason.”
Lillie turned to the quiet, good-looking boy beside her.
“I told you to put on more layers this morning, but you didn’t listen. Serves you right.”

Stephen Gibson glanced at her as she rubbed her arms to warm up. He took off his baseball jacket and tossed it to her.
He then walked over, grabbed the remote, and turned the temperature up.
“Hmph, I just hate wearing bulky clothes!”
Lillie huffed, but she still pulled the jacket tight around her body.
The heater was running in the classroom, but it suddenly got cold for a moment. It warmed right back up afterward.
“Button it all the way up.”
Stephen pulled her further into the classroom, away from the door, then buttoned up her jacket one by one for her.
“Your style is so boring! It’s always just black and white. Can’t you wear fun colors? I love red, light blue, and pink.”
Lillie made a face at the plain black-and-white jacket she was wearing.
His fashion sense was terrible, always picking such plain outfits.
“That’s all I wear. If you hate it so much, you can pick my clothes from now on.”
Stephen kept a straight face as he slowly finished buttoning her jacket.
“Hmph, I will! My taste is way better than yours. Let’s go shopping after school today.”
Lillie grumbled nonstop.

“Your taste is totally off. They picked on you nonstop, but you let them take you back anyway. Life was good here with us. Why on earth would you say yes? It makes no sense. Plus your outfits are so tacky now.”
Stephen just listened quietly to her rambling. His eyes lingered on her pouting lips, and a small smile tugged at his mouth.
She’s so cute when she rambles. Iwanna kiss her.
“Then I’ll wait for you to buy me nicer clothes.”
Stephen softened his gaze and spoke gently once she was done talking.
“Please. I’m the one who always dresses you well. You look so plain and boring without me picking your outfits. Look at how dull your style is now.”
Lillie’s mood instantly lifted. She lifted her chin proudly, unable to hide the big smile in her
eyes.
She knew she was important to him. Without her around, Stephen wore simple clothes and had a hard life.
Only she could turn this cold, grumpy boy into someone soft.
Once lunch break ended, the whole school buzzed with noise and energy again.
