The store entrance was crowded. Zora held his hand tight and squeezed through the crowd with him.

Lots of people outside were taking photos.

Zora stretched out her hands to catch the falling snowflakes.

She touched the tiny snow grains, full of curiosity.

She had never seen snow in her entire life.

The place she grew up was warm year-round, and it never snowed there.

“It’s cold,” Zora whispered as the snow touched her skin.

The snow melted from the warmth of her fingers, leaving her skin damp.

Everyone around her was happy about the first snow of winter, taking photos and enjoying the

moment.

Zora suddenly closed her eyes, pressed her hands together in front of her chest, and made a wish.

Zora had made three wishes.

“Do you want to take pictures?”

Leighton saw other people taking photos and asked her.

“Yes! Take pictures of me! There’s a huge tree over there. I want photos with it!”

It was her first time seeing snow, and she wanted pictures to remember the day.

She ran over to the big tree in the center of the square.
