guy taking photos was super chatty. He tried to lighten the mood and nodded toward Leighton.

They were both drop-dead gorgeous. He’d never seen two people fit each other so well.

Leighton’s eyes stayed locked on Zora the whole time, never wandering. His stare was soft.

It looked like she was the only person that mattered in his world.

The crowd was loud and they were a bit far away. Zora only caught that he told her to smile. She saw him gesture at Leighton and got the hint.

She tilted her head up and smiled at Leighton.

Leighton had been about to speak, but her sudden sweet smile caught him off guard. He smiled right back at her.

The guy quickly snapped a shot of them making eye contact.

He studied photography, and the photo turned out perfect.

People walked by in the background, but the pair stood out from everyone else. Fresh snow fell lightly on their shoulders.

The whole street was noisy and busy, yet they only had eyes for each other.

“All done!”

He took a few more shots before he stopped, clearly impressed. They looked so good that their photos needed no edits at all.

He walked over while scrolling through the pictures.

Leighton stepped forward to take his phone. His eyes softened the second he saw the photos.

The guy was really talented. And with how good-looking they both were, every shot turned out great.

“Man, you’re so lucky. Your girlfriend’s stunning. Good girls are hard to find these days. Treat her well or you might lose her. Hope you two stay together forever!”

The guy handed the phone back with a big smile.

It was an easy mistake. Leighton looked young, just like a college student. Zora had soft makeup on, bright and pretty.

Leighton glanced back at Zora, who was waiting for him, a warm smile in his eyes.

They weren’t dating now, but that would change soon.

The guy saw the fond look in Leighton’s eyes and laughed.

“Thanks.”

Their little talk only took a few seconds.

Zora watched Leighton walk back, looking pretty smug.

“What were you two talking about?”

“He took some really good photos. Check them out.”

Leighton held out the phone for her.

“Wow, his skills are insane! I look so good! Send these to me right now! All the pictures you took of me too!”

Zora fell in love with the photos instantly. She grabbed his phone and sent them all to her own phone.

“Do I not look good?”

Leighton stood beside her, watching. She only praised herself and ignored him, so he teased her softly.

Leighton laughed, amused and helpless.

Every photo was perfect, so she saved all of them. She slipped his phone back into his pocket.

They’d walked around, eaten cheese fondue, and taken tons of photos. It was already past nine.

Zora started feeling sleepy.

Final exams were in a little over a month, and schoolwork had been piling up lately. She barely had time to rest.

It was rare that her teachers gave them the afternoon off, letting her relax for once.

“Let’s head home.” Leighton noticed her tiredness.

“You want those?” Leighton followed her gaze and saw a bunch of colorful balloons floating far

away.

Bright, pretty balloons filled the air.

“I like that sunflower one… but it’s too far. It’s fine, let’s just go.”
