The luxury VIP hospital suite had extra rooms for resting.

Garrett was still unconscious, so none of them wanted to leave.

“Zora, come with me. Let’s go rest.”

Zora looked over at Leighton, clearly worried.

“Go rest with her. I’ll be fine by myself.”

Leighton softly rubbed the back of her head and comforted her.

It was past one in the morning. Zora always kept a regular sleep routine. She looked really tired after being woken up in the middle of the night.

“Okay.” Zora nodded and pressed her lips together.

This was a rare chance for Leighton to stay alone with Garrett, so the others left quietly to give them space.

Leighton stared at his father’s pale, chapped lips. He stood up, grabbed a cup and some cotton swabs from the nightstand, dipped them in water, and gently wet Garrett’s lips.
