Cassia lowered her forehead to the desk edge. Her fingers struck her screen with silent speed, sharp and steady.
The phone suddenly shifted into a full blue screen. White lines flashed across it in rapid streams that looked like thin lightning bolts skimming over water.
A short while later, on the other side of the city, everything shifted.
“Mr. Grey, this is bad. Someone is trying to uncover your identity!”
Seven burst into Draven’s office with the speed of a man chased by disaster.
He attempted to hide his panic, yet Draven caught it instantly in the wild look in his eyes. He noticed the stumble in Seven’s stride. This was not Seven being dramatic. This was a real
emergency.
Seven always talked too much, but he had never looked this close to breaking.
Anyone who could shake Draven’s personal assistant had crossed into a dangerous line.
“What? Someone is investigating me?” Draven asked.
“Yes. And they forced their way into our company system. They already reached the employee archive. We still do not know their goal.”
Draven paused for one quiet second. Then he sat at his desk and ran a set of commands. His brows tightened.
“How amusing.”
He placed both hands on the keyboard. His fingers flew across the keys. The sound echoed in clean bursts like small taps against glass.
The office went silent except for that steady rhythm.
Seven stood frozen, his breath trapped in his throat. He watched Draven work with a mix of fear and respect. He did not even breathe.
He would never interrupt Draven while he worked unless the situation had collapsed past the tech team’s reach. The firewall was failing. The security department had given up. Seven had
no choice.

The intruder was a top–tier hacker. Their target was Draven himself. Their intention remained unclear.
Draven’s computer held the confidential files for every branch of the Greys‘ empire. If someone stole that data, the result could ruin companies.
Losing billions would be the least of their worrics.
Seven’s pulse hammered.
Draven never used personal accounts online. He stayed hidden to avoid threats like this.
The only account he created by choice was the one on the site hosting Fallen of the Massacre.
So the leak had to come from that donation. Draven must have exposed something by accident.
Now someone had followed that trail.
The most frightening part came next. They had taken a simple reading account and traced the owner behind it. Then they had broken into a firewall Draven wrote himself.
That kind of skill felt unreal.
A quiet pressure filled the room. Seven imagined heat rising behind Draven’s back like a controlled blaze wrapping around him. A quiet war was happening, and two computers were the main warriors.
Two full hours passed. The steady click of keys never slowed. The silent war raged between two machines, each responding with perfect precision.
At last Draven spoke. “You pushed through my firewall. I’d like to see who you really are.”
Seven almost collapsed where he stood. Relief washed through him so fast he felt lightheaded.
Draven had blocked the attack. Now came the counterstrike.
Draven was not only ruthless in business. He was a legend in the digital field. Every security structure across the entire Grey network belonged to him. His coding was so complex that most hackers needed weeks to understand the first layer.
By the time they reached it, their own data was already logged for the security team. Arrest followed soon after.
No one had ever cracked Draven’s wall before.

If someone actually could, then that person would be a prodigy. At least in Seven’s eyes, that
was.
He stood in awe for a breath before Draven addressed him again. “Seven, investigate someone named C. The moment you learn anything, you talk to me right away.”
The bout of digital battle carlier told Draven that his opponent was a tech wizard.
If he managed to catch that intruder and bring him under the Greys‘ banner, then the entire empire would gain a treasure.
Draven lived up to his name. He pulled out the hacker’s tag with one clean move.
It made the threat look far less frightening than Seven first believed.
Seven’s eyes lit up. “Mr. Grey, did
you locate the hacker? His tag is C?”
It sounded like an odd title for anyone.
“Yes.”
Draven answered in a cool voice. Yet Seven saw the tight pull in his brow.
Finding this “C” had pushed Draven harder than he wanted to show.
“We only know the label C. We have nothing on gender or address. It could be a fake identity.” Draven spoke while rows of code rolled across the screen.
Seven’s jaw dropped into an open circle. “Oh.”
At Zrario High, Cassia stared at her phone with a spark in her eyes. Fresh lines of code spilled across her screen.
The opponent had real talent.
They cut her trace apart with a single clean strike.
