Chapter 132 Do You Make Money?
Anyway, they already had a brilliant eldest son. The younger one was just an accident. Sterling was born because they hadn’t bothered with birth control. His grades were terrible and his personality weird, so whether they kept him or not didn’t matter.
Sterling was a lot like her. His real parents had left him at an orphanage.
Cassia knew he felt close to her because he saw a bit of his own past in her.
She also felt a part of herself in him. Earlier, she’d noticed silver trading software on his computer and asked, “Are you trading silver?”
She didn’t think it was weird or wrong for a kid his age to do that.
Trading silver wasn’t like stocks. It took insane analytical skill. If he couldn’t cut losses fast, he’d blow up his account in seconds.
Blowing up an account literally meant going into the negative.
Basically, trading silver was a thrill ride.
And Sterling was playing that?
“Yeah.” He nodded.
“Is it fun?” Cassia asked casually, sounding bored.
He nodded again. “Yes.”
“Do you make money?” Cassia guessed.
As soon as she asked, she realized it was kind of a pointless question.
If he wasn’t making money, he wouldn’t find it fun. He clearly was.
“Yeah.”
“Pretty impressive,” Cassia said.
Her little compliment lit him up. His eyes actually glowed.
Cassia was the only one who could see the good in him. Everyone else thought he was a crazy monster.
His parents were no different. They always compared him to others and focused on his elder brother. They’d dumped him here two years ago and never returned.
The last time the nanny barged into his room, she yelled, yanked his ear, and treated him like a punching bag. He only bit her because he was fighting back.
The whole world treated him harshly–except Cassia.

That was why he clung to her. He felt they were the same kind.
Only people like that could understand each other.
“Can I invest?” Cassia asked, standing up.
Sterling was stunned, then finally nodded.
“It’ll make money,” he said, certain and calm.
That confident?
“Give me your bank info. I’ll transfer it.”
Sterling pulled out a bank card from his drawer and handed it over.
Cassia used online banking to send him money, then yawned and left his room.
Sterling stared at the transaction notification in shock.
It was ten million!
He’d always had a tiny allowance, slowly doubling his funds. Sometimes, he didn’t even make anything. With limited funds, it was hard for him to make more money.
But with the cash Cassia gave him, he figured he could finally hit it big.
Still, where did she get that much money?
After a brief pause, Sterling sat at the computer, opened his silver trading software, and dove into analysis.
Meanwhile, in Zrario, inside a luxury villa.
“Mr. Grey, we got news on C!” Seven burst excitedly into Draven’s bedroom.
Draven sat by the window, reading the latest update of Fallen of the Massacre.
Just when the story hit a critical moment, it suddenly stopped. No new chapters.
“You found C?” Draven’s low voice carried an icy chill, tense enough to make anyone stiffen.
Seven stood where he was, feeling that the current distance between them was absolutely perfect.
“C made a move earlier and attacked a well–known hacker.”
“And?” Draven’s narrow eyes were cold.
“Heh, that’s it…” Seven’s tone weakened.
