“I knew you were here.” Cassia said flatly.

Back when she was still in the multimedia classroom, she had already noticed the reflection of binocular lenses glinting off a window in an office across from the building.
Given Draven’s personality, he would definitely have followed her. And she knew the layout of the club like the back of her hand. All she had to do was look around a bit to find them.
Draven looked at Cassia and asked, “How do you plan to handle this?”
“Check the surveillance footage.”
Cassia didn’t mince words.
She was determined to get to the bottom of this.
There was no way she was going to take the fall for someone else.
“Mm.”
Draven nodded approvingly, the smile on his lips deepening.
“I’m guessing the surveillance footage has probably been tampered with. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been framed in the first place.” Seven speculated. “But it’s just some security footage. That’s no problem for Mr. Grey.”
Draven shot Seven a sideways glance, his expression clearly saying, “Then what do I need you for?”
“Yeah, that’s actually why I came to find you.”
Cassia rarely asked anyone for help, but this time, based on her past interactions with Drave she felt he could be trusted.
“After kicking over the piano, things are probably going to be chaotic for a while. I’ll have to deal with pressure from all sides, so I probably won’t have time to investigate. And besides…”
As Cassia spoke, her eyes darkened.
“Even if I show them the footage, it won’t do any good. I need an outsider to help me. Someone who doesn’t know me. Preferably someone from the school with some authority.”

Draven saw the look in her eyes, and it made his heart ache.
“Alright.”
Even if she hadn’t come to him, he would have helped her anyway.
“You just focus on your classes. Leave the rest to me.”
“Thanks.”
Cassia looked into Draven’s eyes and saw her own reflection in them.
It was clear and gentle.

After Cassia kicked over the piano, peace was no longer an option.
When she returned home from the piano club, the moment she stepped through the door, she heard Victoria and the others yelling furiously..
She knew it.
Did she regret it?
Not one bit.
If she could go back in time, she would kick that piano again.
“What were you thinking?” Victoria glared at Cassia, utterly exasperated.
“Do you
have any idea how much that piano costs? How could you be so impulsive?”
Vance also stood to the side with a dark expression, arms crossed, glaring at his disgraceful daughter like she was the bane of his existence, debating whether to discipline her the old- fashioned way.
The whole family knew about what happened. Geneva looked deeply worried as she tried to calm Vance and Victoria down.
Victoria was still cursing up a storm. After Vance finished deliberating, he was just about to start lecturing when he heard Cassia’s flat voice.
Cassia changed into her slippers while saying indifferently, “You don’t have to pay for it. No need to get so worked up.”

“We don’t have to pay? You think you can afford it? In the end, I’m the one who’s going to have to clean up your mess!” Vance tried his best to keep his voice level.
But even though he was clearly holding back, it was obvious he was fuming.
Brie stood behind him, patting his back to help him calm down.
Danica was also dutifully patting Victoria’s back.
“Grandma, Dad, please don’t be angry. We can figure out the money situation slowly.
“Yeah, don’t let Cassia ruin your health. It’s not worth it!”
Brie and Danica said all the right things, but inside, they were actually panicking.
Cassia had destroyed the piano. There was no way she could afford to pay for it herself. In the end, Vance would have to foot the bill.
Ten million dollars!
Their family could afford it, but they were worried this incident would cut into their allowances.
Vance was so angry that his fingertips were trembling. “Tell me, this money…”
“I said, you don’t have to pay a single cent.” Cassia said impatiently as she headed upstairs.
“We don’t have to pay? But where are you going to get the money to cover it?” Geneva followed after her and asked.
Cassia turned around.
“I’ll tell you when the time is right.”
